Paris Whitney Hilton is an American socialite, heiress, media personality, model, singer, author, fashion designer and actress . Socialite heiress Paris Hilton will take the stand in a Miami, Florida court Friday to testify against allegations that she failed to adequately promote her 2006 flop 'Pledge This!'

The occasional actress-singer is being sued for breach of contract by bosses at Worldwide Entertainment Group Inc., who claim she neglected to honour promotion and publicity agreements for the film, insisting she owes investors a massive $8.3 million, reports contactmusic.com.

The movie executives claim Hilton was paid $1 million for her acting services and for "reasonable promotion and publicity" for the film, which featured the her as the president of an exclusive sorority.

A judge rejected a motion by Hilton's legal team to dismiss the lawsuit in May and the trial began Thursday.

Cristiano Ronaldo is 'too busy' for Paris Hilton?

Just two weeks after sharing 'mother of all make-outs' with Paris Hilton, Christiano Ronaldo has lost interest in the hotel heiress, and says that he is too busy for her.

The soccer star and the multimillionaire socialite spent a night together earlier this month, and vowed to keep their romance alive.

However, the 23-year-old footballer now claims that he doesn''t have time for the 28-year-old blonde beauty.

He added: "She lives thousands of miles away and is busy, and I am busy in Madrid so I am not sure if we will be able to see each other. I am just making the most of the short summer I get."

Paris and Cristiano spent hours snogging at MyHouse club in Los Angeles before driving to her sister Nicky Hilton''s nearby home in West Hollywood for some after time.

Socialite heiress Paris Hilton's family is delighted with her break-up with Doug Reinhardt as they feel the American basketball player-actor was dating her for monetary gains.

The 27-year-old beauty moved into her new house 18 months ago and set about turning the "boring" and "stuffy" family home into a dream house.

She also turned into a tour guide for Access Hollywood and showed off her Hollywood home.

Hilton showed off the Marilyn Monroe portraits that hang over her four-poster bed and shocked with candid poster-sized photos of the heiress naked, hugging a toy cat and sitting in a Hummer (vehicle) with her pet Chihuahua Tinkerbell poking out between her legs, reports Contactmusic.

She said, "That`s me in a Hummer with Tinkerbell, in the buff."

When you think Paris Hilton and animal rights, you probably think of her irresponsible puppy purchases. She has been known to buy furry friends from shops in LA that support puppy mills. Hmm…then why did the Humane Society honor her at this year’s Sundance Film Festival? Well, Paris Hilton has donated $100,000 to Scott Lazerson's Interface Foundation during a dinner for Nigel Barker’s new documentary A Sealed Fate and offered to be the face of Marine Rocks Beading Center, a children's cancer advocacy group. Perhaps she is changing her party-going, puppy mill pup buying ways! Either way, the Humane Society is happy and has given Paris a commemorative plaque in recognition of her support for the “save the seals” cause.
