Lindsay Lohan's ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson Infuriated by Homophobic Club Attack
Lindsay Lohan's ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson is infuriated after a girl was badly injured in a vicious homophobic attack at one of her club nights.
Ronson expressed her outrage on social networking site Twitter.com by posting a photo of the girl's injuries, and criticised the incident on her MySpace.com blog.
She said that the woman was only targeted because she is a lesbian.
"That picture above was taken after a girl was attacked at a party I DJ'd in seattle, simply for being gay. It's disgusting," the Daily Express quoted Ronson as saying.
"No one should have to suffer any sort of attack, verbal or physical, for any reason. There are no excuses for violence - people say 'well they're just ignorant or uneducated' - so what???
"Unfortunately people are killed, beaten and attacked daily for a number of ridiculously irrational reasons.
"I'm not saying that everyone has to love everyone individually, I'm no hippie, but seriously people, no one should ever resort to violence. What if your sister, mother, brother or father were being pummelled for wearing a red sweater? Would you stand by and do nothing? Well, we are all someone's child, sibling, or friend! Open your eyes!" she added.

Kirk Douglas didn't want his son to become 'an actor'
Veteran actor Kirk Douglas had stopped son Michael to pursue a career in acting because he didn't want him to experience the 'rejection' of Hollywood.
The 92-year-old actor said that he was shocked when Michael decided to try out drama as a youngster, because he always wanted to be a lawyer.
When Michael took on his first play, Kirk decided to criticise his performance to divert his attention to law.
"He attended college in Santa Barbara with the intention of being a lawyer. I was very happy. I didn't want him to deal with the rejection in my field. In his sophomore year he suddenly said to me, 'Dad, I'm going to be in a play,'" Contactmusic quoted Kirk as writing on his official website.
"I was startled. He never showed any interest in being an actor and I was glad. But I went to see the play at the college. It was a Shakespeare play and he had a very small part. After the play he said, 'Dad, how was I?' I answered, 'Michael, you were terrible.'
"And I thought that would squash any desire he had to become an actor. Which just shows you how wrong I can be," he added.

Chris Brown Faces Lawsuit for Assault
Chris Brown is being taken to court by a photographer who alleges the musician's involvement in a violent incident.
Robert Rosen has filed a lawsuit against the singer and a L.A. Fitness gym for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress and false imprisonment in March.
According to TMZ.com, the snapper claimed he had been "shook with incredible force" for trying to take pictures of the 20-year-old star while he was playing basketball at the gym's court, reports Us magazine.
Brown's attorney Mark Geragos, however, has slammed the claims, casting doubt on the intentions of Rosen, who had previously sued Pierce Brosnan in late 2007 and lost the case after alleging physical harm by the actor.
Geragos said: "This is a specious and frivolous lawsuit by one of the paparazzi seeking publicity and a payday. [Rosen] has done this before and lost. We will vigorously defend against this."
Brown was previously taken into custody for allegedly beating his then-girlfriend Rihanna in February.
He pleaded not guilty at his April arraignment and is due to appear in court.
