Lindsay Lohan gets ticket for 'noise violation'!

'Mean Girls' star Lindsay Lohan was issued a ticket by the Los Angeles police for noise violation on the weekend.

Lohan, 22, enraged her Hollywood Hills neighbours by playing loud music into the early hours of June 21st morning, reports the Daily Star.

The neighbours are said to have flooded the Los Angeles Police Department with complaints about the actress.

According to TMZ.com, authorities responded at 4.20am local time by issuing the actress a ticket for excessive noise.

Ricky Martin is bisexual!

Sparking speculation about his orientation, Puerto Rican pop singer Ricky Martin has partly admitted to being bisexual.

Celebrity blogger Perezhilton.com reports that the Maria singer has come "one foot out of the closet" after he reportedly said "his heart could belong to a woman or a man".

Martin made the controversial statement in an interview for the latest issue of TV magazine Aqui.

Rumours over the 37-year-old's priorities started surfacing after he was criticised by a Catholic cardinal from the Honduras for quietly raising on his own twin boys born through a surrogate.

It is, however, not known whether he has a partner of either gender as of now.

Angelina Jolie is reportedly bored with the Hollywood industry and is considering turning to politics to make a difference in the world.

The actress, who has been highlighting the plight of refugees and victims of war and poverty while serving as a UN goodwill ambassador for the last eight years, is allegedly keen on entering the White House.

“Ange has admitted she’s getting bored with Hollywood. She said she’s now got her sights set on Washington,” The Daily Express quoted a friend as saying.

“She is passionate about people’s rights, war and justice and thinks she can get more hands-on and make even more of a difference by getting into politics. She admires Obama and thinks she could make a big difference too if she were in his position,” the pal added.

The 34-year-old may follow in the footsteps of fellow stars like Arnold Schwarz enegger with her increased interest in extending humanitarian work.

The friend added: “I would place a huge wager on her becoming the first female president in the next 20 years. When Ange sets her mind on something, she goes all out to do it.

“She’s very determined and gets very stirred by her UN work. She is well respected for her humanitarian work and I’m sure she would make as many waves if she moved fully into the political world.”

Angelina, who shares six adopted and biological children with partner Brad Pitt, recently piped Oprah Winfrey as the world’s most powerful celebrity in a list put together by Forbes magazine.

DiCaprio to star in 'Poker film'

Titanic star Leonardo DiCaprio is taking his love for poker to the next level.

The actor, who is a die hard fan of the game and has even participated in high-stakes poker tournaments with his actor friend Tobey Maguire, is all set to explore the murkier side of on line gambling in a new movie.

DiCaprio has signed a film about Costa Rica-based Internet casinos. The script of the film has been written by 'Ocean's Thirteen screenwriters Brian Koppelman and David Levien.

The duo behind the as-yet-unnamed film also penned the script for 1998's Rounders, which saw Edward Norton and Matt Damon star as underground poker players.

Kylie Minogue on the success of 'Girls Aloud'

Kylie Minogue has reportedly roped in songwriters behind the success of Girls Aloud for her big comeback.

The Aussie singer was said to have asked hit-making duo Xenomania, who helped the all girls band score 20 consecutive Top Ten singles, to pen smashes for her next album.

"Kylie has been a huge fan of Xenomania for ages,” The Sun quoted a source as saying.

"With the girls off pursuing solo plans before their next album, she feels the time is right to work with the team who provided them with such staggering success," the source added.

Xenomania, producers Brian Higgins and Miranda Cooper, previously teamed up with Kylie on her 2005 single Giving You Up, which grabbed the No 6 spot in the charts.

The source added: "Kylie wants to come back with a bang. Her last album, X, sold quite well but it wasn''t the triumphant return to form many people hoped for.

"By working with Xenomania she hopes she can create a really coherent album which will connect her right back to the pop market."
