Mandy Moore 'always knew' her Music was different from Britney Spears

Mandy Moore has said that she 'always knew' her music style would be different from that of Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera's.

The 25-year-old, who rose to prominence at the same time as her fellow pop singers, said she did not like sticking to formula music and would rather prefer to take a different road.

'I kind of always knew we would all differentiate ourselves from one another,' Contactmusic quoted her as telling MTV News.

'Musically, they've stuck to a formula that works for them and, obviously, has always proven successful. I don't think I found that same success singing music that really, at the end of the day, I wasn't happy singing,' she added.

Mandy further defended her new album 'Amanda Leigh' based on '70s sort of California pop', insisting: 'It wasn't a bold gesture to try and show that I was an adult. I sort of have taken my baby steps to get to where I am today. I feel comfortable singing the music that I'm singing, because it's coming from me, finally.'

'There was a rope tied around his neck and another rope tied at his sex organ, and the two ropes were tied together and hung in the closet,' Sky News quoted Police commander Lieutenant General Worapong Siewpreecha as saying.

'Under these circumstances we cannot be sure that he committed suicide but he may have died from masturbation,' Siewpreecha added.

Eminem has confirmed that Sacha Baron Cohen's Bruno barebum stunt at the weekend's MTV Movie Awards was staged.

The rapper said that the stunt in which he had a close encounter with Cohen's butt cheeks had been rehearsed.

'Sacha called me when we were in Europe and he had an idea to do something outrageous at the movie awards,' the Mirror quoted him as telling hip-hop site Rap Radar.

'I'm a big fan of his work so I agreed to get involved with the gag. I'm thrilled that we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it. It had so many people going 'nuts', so to speak,' he added.

Eminem said that after he stormed out of the auditorium he went back to his hotel and 'laughed uncontrollably for about three hours.'

The 'Womanizer' singer wishes to take her two sons, Sean, 3, and Jayden, 2, to Buckingham Palace to have an afternoon tea with the queen, reported femalefirst.co.uk.

'Britney's schedule has been crazy from the minute she arrived in Britain. But no way does she want to leave without visiting the queen,' said a source.

'She has told her aides she is desperate for her sons to meet the royalty. Britney loves everything the royal family stands for, so this would make a dream come true,' added the source.

Slumdog Millionaire’s nine-year-old star Rubina Ali is ready to tell her life story.

According to reports, the Mumbai resident, who played the young Latika in director Danny Boyle''s Oscar winning movie, is penning a memoir.

The book, Dreaming: My Journey to the Stars, will chronicle her story of growing up in the Mumbai slums instead of her rise to fame, reports Us magazine.

"Rubina brings alive a world of wastelands and rat-infested shanty dwellings, and shows us her home, a wooden shack with a tarpaulin roof, where she grew up with her beloved father and siblings," said a statement released by Transworld Publishers.

The tome will be released in the UK mid July

Proceeds from the book will be donated to Ali and Medecins du Monde, a French medical aid organization.
