'Priest' - a post-apocalyptic sci fi thriller movie is 2011's best American supernatural action movie. Priest is based on the comic book by Min-Woo Hyung, Priest centers on a warrior priest (Bettany) who disobeys church law by teaming with a young sheriff (Gigandet) who is part vampire and a priestess to track down a band of renegade vampires who have kidnapped the priest's niece.

Plot summary: Priest is a post-apocalyptic sci-fi thriller set in a world ravaged by centuries of war between humans and vampires. Based on Priest, a Korean comic series created by Hyung Min-woo, the story revolves around a legendary warrior Priest from the last Vampire War who now lives in obscurity along with the other downtrodden human inhabitants in walled-in dystopian cities ruled by the Church. The Priest (Paul Bettany) breaks his sacred vows when his niece is abducted by a murderous pack of vampires and ventures out on a quest to find her before they turn her into one of them.  On his crusade he is joined by his niece’s boyfriend, a trigger-happy young sheriff from the wasteland, and a former Warrior Priestess who has amazing fighting skills.
So it’s basically everything recent movies are all moving towards, all rolled into one…  vampires, post-apocalypse wastelands, steam-punk style industrial tech, better than a human can do fighting scenes, church/anti-church theme, and the obviously needed hot chick in tight black leather.

The film first entered development in 2005, when Screen Gems bought the spec script by Cory Goodman. In 2006 Andrew Douglas was attached to direct and Gerard Butler was attached to star. They were eventually replaced by Stewart and Bettany in 2009 and filming started in Los Angeles, California, later in the year. The film changed release dates numerous times throughout 2010 and 2011. It was especially pushed back from 2010 to 2011 to convert the film from 2D to 3D. It is scheduled to be released first in the United Kingdom, Slovenia and Spain on May 06, 2011.

Mila Kunis Starring with Mark Wahlberg In 'Ted' American Comedy Film 2012

Ukraine born American actress, Mila Kunis is starring with Mark Wahlberg in an upcoming American comedy film 'Ted' directed by Seth MacFarlane, the creator of Family Guy. MacFarlane announced the film on the February 10, 2011 episode of the TBS variety nighttime talk-show series Conan. The film is about a cute teddy bear come to life that grows and, now a grungy drug addict, tortures Wahlberg in his adulthood. Mark Wahlberg proved he could do comedy in "The Other Guys." MacFarlane will provide the voice of the bear, which will be brought to life with CG technology. Kunis would play Wahlberg's girlfriend, who tries to convince him to push the bear out of his home and life. The script is written by MacFarlane along with his fellow “Family Guy” writers Alex Sulkin and Wellesley Wild. According to Dark Horizons, other characters will include a racist homosexual, a “Jewish-looking” person with anti-Semitic views and a woman obsessed with male ass crack shaving. Shooting for this american comedy movie 'Ted' has already begun in May 2011 in Boston and Swampscott. The film will be distributed by Universal Pictures and the release date for this movie is set to July 13, 2012.
