Shahid Kapoor putting in efforts to learn Kannada on the sets of his next Actor Shahid Kapoor, who has been out-of-work since last one year, is nowadays busy shooting for his next film Phata Poster Nikla Hero, where he stars opposite Ileana D'Cruz. The film is directed by Rajkumar Santoshiand it is Shahid's first film after Teri Meri Kahaani, which released in the mid of this year. Currently the shooting of the film is going on in Mysore. Now the sources have learnt that Sasha has taken it up as a challenge to learn Kannada. Apparently, the actor overheard some unit hands talking in an unfamiliar language. On investigation, he found out it was Kannada and hence decided to learn the language. A source says, "Shahid is always looking to learn new things. When he heard some crewmembers speaking in an alien tongue, he wanted to know what it was. He was intrigued. He summoned them and wanted to know what language they were talking in." And now we hear that Shahid has already picked up a few basic words in the South Indian language. "He has even been interacting in Kannada with a few locals and unit members. He listens to their pronunciation very carefully," adds the source. During his off-time the actor engages the locals in conversation to learn more from them. Shahid is in the city for another 10 days. It is a tedious schedule where they have been shooting all throughout the night. Phata Poster Nikla Hero is set to release next year.
