Shriya Saran Profile Born: September, 11, 1982 Location: Dehradun, India Biography Shriya Saran was born in Dehradun to Pushpendra Saran and Neeraja Saran. She was brought up in Ranipur, a few miles from Haridwar. Her father Pushpendra Saran works at Bharat Heavy Electricals Ltd. and her mother is a school teacher, teaching chemistry. Saran is their second child and her elder brother Abhiroop, is married to Aarti and they have a son, Dhruv. Shriya completed her schooling from Delhi Public School, Haridwar. She did her college from Lady Shri Ram College and has got a B.A. degree to her credit. She has been training Kathak and classical dance from her young age and is an accomplished Kathak dancer.
