Shakira is eyeing a musical collaboration with actor Robert Pattinson after falling in love with his vampire movie 'Twilight'.

The singer was introduced to 'Twilight', after an executive at her record label noticed its themes are similar to those explored on her upcoming album, 'She Wolf', reported contactmusic.com.

'The president of my label said, 'Have you checked out Twilight? It's about wolves and vampires and things.' And I'm like, 'Ah, that's up my alley. I mean, where is it?' And I watched it and loved it,' said Shakira.

The singer then insisted that she would love to duet with Pattinson, who played piano and recorded vocals for two songs on the 'Twilight' soundtrack: 'I've heard he's a great singer and a great musician.'

Robert Pattinson is 'Not on a Boat'

While Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz will be on a cruise with Twilight fans from Seattle to Alaska in August, Robert Pattinson probably won't be shouting "I'm on a boat!" anytime soon.

Ashley says R-Pattz, who's currently in NYC filming Remember Me, has a packed schedule, one that doesn't allow for cruising the high seas.

"I think he's entirely too busy," Alice Cullen tells EOnline.com. "He's working on, like, eight movies."

Robert Pattinson's taxi-collision reports 'exaggerated'

Movie bosses have claimed that reports saying that Robert Pattinson was running away from fans when he was hit by a taxi are completely false and 'exaggerated'.

The 'Twilight' star was mobbed by fans on Thursday, while shooting for his new film 'Remember Me' in New York.

But internet gossip columns claimed that Pattinson was clipped on the hip by a yellow cab while he was trying to run across a road in downtown Manhattan in order to escape the swarm of teenage girls.

According to the Daily Express, a report on RadarOnline.com says that a bodyguard checked the 23-year-old for injuries before screaming at fans: "You see what you did, you almost killed him!"

However, a spokesperson for the movie's production company has downplayed the reports, claiming that the film's shooting is continuing normally after the drama.

"The reports are exaggerated. It was not caused by his fans. Production continues," Vivian Mayer told the New York Daily News.

Rob Pattinson 'Dating' Kristen Stewart?

Rumours that Robert Pattinson is romancing his Twilight co-star Kristen Stewart has been further fuelled by the film's director Catherine Hardwick.

Hardwick believes the pair, who play onscreen lovers in the vampire movie franchise, have an 'interesting' connection, reports the China Daily.

"People love to talk, so let them have fun talking," Hardwicke said.

"I think they have an interesting, wonderful connection, so you know...What does dating mean? I don't know. I couldn't say," Hardwick added.
