John Travolta is the love of Kirstie Alley�s life. The 61-year-old actress fell for her �Look Who�s Talking� co-star on the set of the movie almost 25 years ago but couldn�t act on her feelings because she was married to actor Parker Stevenson at the time.
In an interview with Barbara Walters, Kirstie said: �Believe me, it took everything that I had, inside, outside, whatever, to not run off and marry John. And be with John for the rest of my life. [He was the] greatest love of my life.�
John, 58 � who is married to Kelly Preston � was single when they met and when Kirstie was asked why she didn�t leave her husband for her co-star, she insisted the institution of marriage was very important to her.
The actress � who divorced Parker in 1997- said: �I feel like when you marry someone you�re supposed to work hard at it, and you�re supposed to make it work.�
Kirstie has always been open about her love life and admitted she had an insatiable sexual appetite but her marathon romps still couldn�t bring her happiness in her relationships.
She has said: �The way I used to pick guys was so shallow. Hot? OK, that�ll be my husband. But here�s my big revelation. I decided that in the best of times you have two hours of sex a day, so you have 22 hours left.�

New Film Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana Movie Review Many a times, our Hindi films start with immense potential to be a classic film with its first shot. Those films have an engaging first half but soon lag behind and tend to drag in the second half making film viewing a bit cumbersome at times. But that is not the case with Sameer Sharma's �Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana'. On the contrary, it is the opposite. Written by Sameer and Sumit Bhateja, LSTCK narrates the story of Omi (Kunal Kapoor after ages) a good for nothing fella being hounded by a petty Punjabi goon (Manish Makhija) in London for money that Omi owes to him. Unable to repay an enormous loan and with a death threat looming large, Omi decides to turn to his family and more importantly the family business in a small town in Punjab. The family runs a dhaba called �Chicken Khurana' named after its signature dish, whose secret recipe only the family's patriarch, daarji (Vinod Nagpal) knows. When Omi returns to Punjab after eons of years, things have changed since the last time he ran away from home as a teenager. The dhaba is not functionable, his daarji is suffering from age induced dementia, his uncle is suspicious of his motive of return, his ex -girlfriend Harman (Huma Qureshi) is engaged to his cousin Jeet and there is a new entrant in the family called Titu Mama (Rajesh Sharma) whose mannerisms are bizarre, to say the least. Omi, of course, has a fresh set of lies to present in front of his family. He doesn't reveal his actual motive of return and also has grand plans to find out the secret recipe of the famous chicken dish and sell it to the rival. While the story is simple, the plot takes too much time to establish itself. The first half is solely kept for establishing the sub plots of various characters and the main �action' begins only after the interval. Too many characters, their stories, flashback scenes, and slow pace mar the film's credibility to quite an extent. The laughs are there, but somehow lack that punch. What works for the movie is that it boasts of a superb ensemble cast. Kunal Kapoor being the �hero' of the film makes for an affable Omi. He isn't the best but somehow manages to make the Punjabi munda lovable. After an impressive debut in Anurag Kashyap's �Gangs of Wasseypur', Huma gets a meaty role in her second film and gives a fabulous performance. Quershi plays the angry, hurt-in-love Harman perfectly : a stark contrast from her flamboyant Mohsina act in GOW. But the star of the film is a lesser known actor called Rajesh Sharma. After featuring in significant roles in �No One Killed Jessica' and �The Dirty Picture', Rajesh makes the obnoxious yet lovable Titu mama a lovable character. He gets the best dialogues in the film and manages to shine beautifully throughout the film. A special mention for the casting director for getting veteran actor Vinod Nagpal and popular Udham Singh aka Manish Makhija on board to play important characters in the film- they simply make the movie enjoyable. Vinod Nagpal makes daarji a hilarious and dare- I-say �cute' character who serenades a crow thinking it is his dead wife and runs to his dhaba in the state of dementia at every given opportunity. The talented, funny Dolly Ahluwalia (last seen in �Vicky Donor' as Ayushmann Khurana's mother) gives her midas touch as the dhongi bua in a superb cameo in the film as well. It has got all the right ingredients- the mustard fields, the happy-go-lucky Punjabis, the tractors, the quirky bizzare characters, the brazen yet lovable hero, a brewing love story,superb music by Amit Trivedi, and in spite of these ingredients the films isn't �cooked' well. Ajay Devgn shoots legal notice to Yash Raj Films Mumbai: Amidst the din surrounding the release date of Ajay Devgn's �Son of Sardaar', the actor has sent a legal notice to Yash Raj Films. Devgn's lawyer served a notice in the Competition Commission to the reputed banner (earlier headed by the late Yash Chopra) for allegedly using their influential position in the showbiz market and preventing other films to release on November 13 (Diwali) when Shah Rukh Khan starrer �Jab Tak Hai Jaan' is scheduled to hit the silverscreen. A leading daily reported, "ADF was forced to take legal recourse because of monopolistic practices of YRF. Before the release of �Ek Tha Tiger', in August 2012, YRF had reportedly used their dominant position in the market to enter into an arrangement with the exhibitors saying that they will give them �Ek Tha Tiger' only if the exhibitors agreed to reportedly give their Diwali release prominence over others." Famous Actress Tabu Says I have never been jealous Mumbai: In the competitive Hindi film industry, actress Tabu says she has never felt jealous. Having faced tough competition by her contemporaries including Karisma Kapoor and Shilpa Shetty, she says each actress had her own space. "I have never been a jealous person. I have always wanted to do better than myself. During those times, a number of films were being made and all of us (actresses) were doing some many films at any given point of time," Tabu told reporters here. "I really like Shilpa. I like her as a person. Manisha Koirala is a lovely human being and so beautiful. Karisma and I did the maximum number of films together. In fact Babitaji used to say that we are the hit couple. We all had our own space in the industry," she added. Tabu is a bit of a recluse, and she admits she doesn`t like to be seen everywhere. "I don`t like to be everywhere and be seen everywhere. Not that I don`t like it, but I don`t think a lot that I want to go here and there. I want to do good stuff and I want to do interesting stuff. I want to have fun. "As far as being media shy is concerned, too much of actor`s presence in media is the recent thing. The time I started there was no such concept. I belong from there, we are not in that practice or in that training. So I look at that as an explanation because we are not used to it. "We used to go for the shooting come back home and once we are done with the dubbing we were through with it. I am going to be what I have been always," added the 40-year-old. While many actors are diversifying into production, does Tabu have any such plans? "No such plans. Acting is the easy job. People call you : go act, take money and come back home," she said. Earlier this year, Superior Court Judge Patricia Schnegg questioned the validity of records from officials in Brown's home state of Virginia : which stated that the singer had completed his required six months of community labour : calling the documents "somewhat cryptic" in September. The judge did not address questions relating to his community service at yesterday's (01.11.12) hearing : which the 23-year-old attended with his lawyer just hours after he was spotted being affectionate with 24-year-old Rihanna at her Halloween bash in Hollywood wearing a terrorist costume. A prosecutor said a report filed for the latest hearing did not provide any additional details about Chris's community service as previously requested by the court. During the hearing Chris was told not to speak by his lawyer who according to gossip website Youthgossip.com was overheard telling him: �I don't dance, you don't talk.' Chris is scheduled to begin a large tour that spans several countries in Europe and South Africa on November 14 and will appear back in court on January 17, 2013.

Sam Lutfi's lawsuit against Britney Spears has been thrown out by a judge. �The X Factor' judge and her parents : who were being sued by Sam for breach of contract, defamation and assault : were told in a Los Angeles courtroom yesterday (01.11.12) that they did nothing wrong and the scorned celebrity manager was told he had no case against them. Sam had accused the 30-year-old star of breach of contract claiming they verbally agreed he would represent her for four years around the time of her public meltdown four years ago. He had also filed a battery claim against her father Jamie and was suing her mother Lynne for defamation relating to comments she made about him in her 2008 memoir �Through The Storm'. Earlier this week the family had filed legal documents petitioning the judge to dismiss the lawsuit stating Britney never gave her �reciprocal assent' to pay Lutfi 15 per cent of her income in exchange for his managerial services during the period, which Sam claimed during his testimony in court last week. And, as for the battery allegation, the family's legal team argued Sam �has not presented clear and convincing evidence that Jamie Spears acted either with intent to injure him'. Sam claimed Jamie hit him in the solar plexus and threatened to kill him on the morning of January 29, 2008, hours after Britney was photographed and videotaped crying outside her home after jumping out of a car being driven by Sam. He also claimed Britney shaved off her hair because she was afraid it would be used as evidence of her drug use. Sam : who currently represents Courtney Love : told gossip website Youthgossip.com he plans to appeal the judge's decision.
