Take That’s Mark Owen has revealed that Robbie Williams often plays the peacemaker when the band has a divided opinion.The singer said that the group calls the former member to take his advise to settle arguments between Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Jason Orange and Howard Donald.
"Sometimes in a band you have to compromise. I might have an idea about something and Jason might have another idea,” Contactmusic quoted Owen as saying.
“There are four of us, so when we have two on each side, we''ll phone Robbie and say, ''What do you think?'' " he added.
The 37-year-old further said that being in the band had been nothing less than going to college and learning about what he loves best.
He added: "I always say that being in Take That was like going to university. I learned about music, bought my first keyboard and wrote my first song. A lot of it was hard work. Trying to learn all those routines - that was hard, but not as hard as having to get up every day and do a proper job."
Angelina Jolie calls for more action to end Darfur crisis
American actress Angelina Jolie called for more action to end the crisis in Darfur in a new article she has written for Time magazine.Jolie recalled her first trip to Chad to visit refugees from Darfur in 2004, and says that nothing has changed since then.
"The evidence the prosecutor has presented is clear and compelling," Us magazine quoted her having written in the article.
She also pointed out that "millions of people have been displaced" and "hundreds of thousands have been killed".
Despite the Bush administration labelling the Darfur situation as "genocide", Jolie says that the words have not "compelled us to intervene".
"Darfur has almost disappeared from the news, and experts now call it a 'low intensity conflict.' But the intensity of the crisis has not lessened for those who are struggling to survive," she said.
"More than 250,000 people from Darfur have lived destitute lives in refugee camps in Chad for six years now.
"Camps with more than two million internally displaced persons inside Darfur are even worse. Thirty percent of those displaced are school-age children.
"Girls leaving the camps are raped; boys leaving the camps are killed. They want an education; they want to go back to their villages, to their land; they want peace. But they also want justice," she added.
Results of the investigation on the situation by the International Criminal Court will be revealed on June 12 to the United Nations Security Council.

After failing to adopt Mercy from Malawi, Madonna has reportedly turned to an orphanage in Nigeria - and this time toyboy lover Jesus is by her side.Apparently, the star has been making inquiries at an orphanage in the city of Kaduna about a female tot.
The Material Girl was devastated when her bid to adopt a little girl called Mercy was rejected by a Malawi court in April.
A source close to the 50-year-old singer revealed: 'She was distraught when her adoption failed in Malawi.
'At the time she blamed the fact that her relationship with Jesus made her look like she was going through some midlife crisis.
'But now she's looking at adoption centres in Nigeria and has got another female friend to make an initial approach to test the waters.
'She's determined not to make the same mistakes and feels that the only way to do this is to get Jesus involved from the off.'
Madonna's pal has made an approach to the Mercy Home Orphanage, which is home to 30 children, reports News of the World.
The source said: 'Madonna is considering visiting, perhaps with Jesus, as soon as she can.'
She's determined to extend her family and provide a little sister for daughter Lourdes, 12, and sons Rocco, eight, and David, three, who she adopted in Malawi.
The source continued: 'Madonna always thought she would eventually win her battle to adopt Mercy, but that hasn't been the case. She thinks this will bring her and Jesus together as one big happy family.'
Her friend added: 'Failure is not an option. Madonna wouldn't be able to take rejection for the second time.'
