Ed McMahon in ICU With Medical Complications

The ‘Heeeeeeere’s Johnny’ side kick of Johnny Carson, Ed McMahon, hasn’t had the best time over the past two years. In 2008 Ed was in a fight to keep his home from being repossessed as the recession began to take a grip on the property market.

After braking his neck in a fall nearly two years ago, Ed, still loving his career even at the age of 85, had been out of work and was left owing more than $600,000 in overdue payments on his multimillion-dollar Beverly Hills mansion. Being in close proximity to the home of Britney Spears didn’t help with the selling prospective.

Now, just a few weeks into 2009, Ed is reportedly in the ICU at a Los Angeles hospital suffering from bone cancer, pneumonia and other medical complications.

McMahon’s rep Howard Bragman confirmed the hospitalization to FOXNews.com, saying, “He is in the hospital. It is serious,” Bragman said. “We appreciate everyone’s thoughts and prayers.”
