Chocolate beauty Priyamani has turned item girl for Bollywood Baadshah Shahrukh Khan. Reports say that Priyamani was contacted by Rohit Shetty for an item song for his directorial venture ‘Chennai Express’ starring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone.
At first, Priyamani was quite hesitant to accept the offer but keeping in view of the popularity of SRK she has expressed her interest to act in the item number, says sources.
The actress shot for four days with Shahrukh Khan for an item number in Chennai Express.
A source from the movie set tells us that she thoroughly enjoyed her stint and bonded with the team very well. The sources adds that Shahrukh Khan was extremely delighted seeing Priyamani‘s energy while shooting for the dance and even complimented her about the same.
“The song is called 1, 2, 3, 4… Dabbankoothu Hardcore. It has a lot of south Indian dance moves and Sharukh Khan will be seen doing all the steps that the typical Tamil ‘mass heroes’ do,” says the source.
