The strong buzz making rounds ever since Monday morning is that Rajnikanth has given his nod for a Rs 100 crore project which would be directed by KV Anand of ‘Ko‘ and ‘Maatraan‘ fame. Eros International would be producing this big ticket film which would go to floors after the release of Superstar’s next outing Vikram Simha being directed by his daughter Aishwarya.
However, KV Anand took the twitter route to condemn the reports which are in circulation. “All are nothing but RUMOURS. Unless otherwise a Maatraan (conjoined twin) of mine went around and signed the film,” clarifies the filmmaker.
The project of Rajnikanth-KV Anand is in discussion from the past few months. Film buffs wants to see this deadly combination to come on board.
In one of his previous interviews, KV Anand opined that to direct a Superstar like Rajnikanth several aspects need to be considered as a lot of money is at stake and humongous expectation will be riding on the film.
Seems like, the director is taking his time to get everything right before making an official announcement on the most awaited project.
