Why will AR Rahman not be at the song launch of Jab Tak Hai Jaan? The music director will not be present for the high profile release of the song Ishq shava from the Shahrukh Khan-Katrina Kaif-Anushka Sharma film While Shahrukh Khan will be present for the launch of the new song Ishq shava from Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Katrina Kaif will join in on Skype from the US, AR Rahman, the composer of the soundtrack of the film, will be absent. No, Rahman hasn't disowned Jab Tak Hai Jaan, if that's what you are thinking! Rahman is, in fact, busy with his international commitments. The music director is currently in New York attending the One World Concert at Syracuse University Carrier Dome to honour a visit by the Dalai Lama. The event will feature an original song written and performed by multiple artists, including Rahman, Counting Crows, Dave Matthews and Dave Crosby in honour of the Tibetan spiritual leader. Many other music stars will also be present at the two-day event (October 8-9). Phil Ramone is music producer for the event, and Whoopi Goldberg and news broadcaster Ann Curry will emcee. There will also be a series of peace talks focusing on conflict resolution in a global context. We are proud that Rahman is representing India again on a global platform, even as his ambitious B-town soundtrack is releasing, and we'll wait to interact with him during the next song launch. Just to give you a sneak peek into Rahman's next offering, Ishq shava is a disco number sung by Shilpa Rao and Raghav Mathur, and will be picturised on SRK and Katrina. The two will be seen partying at a London discotheque. Will it make you groove? We'll find out soon. HOT MODELS BIKINI PHOTO SHOOT PICTURES
