It seems highly unlikely but if Priyanka Chopra’s PR machinery is to be believed, the actress is now giving tips to legends! These days PC is on a high with her performance in ‘Barfi!’ being lauded and having launched her single track ‘In my city’.
But what she didn’t anticipate was that legendary singer Asha Bhosle would seek her approval! It so happened that even while Priyanka is taking baby steps into the music industry, Asha-tai is doing the same in acting world. At the age of 79, Asha-tai is commendably making her acting debut in a Marathi film, ‘Mai’. According to reports, when PC went to Asha-tai to seek blessings for her musical album, in return the latter asked for a favour. She told PC that she would teach her a few nuances of music only if PC promised to give her a lesson or two in acting! Priyanka obviously agreed to this unofficial pact and is said to be flying higher since then!
By the way, we hear Asha Bhonsle is doing a pretty job of acting on the sets of ‘Mai’. We aren’t surprised really, considering she has been doing a lot of it through her amazing voice, over the years!
