Right now, Tollywood’s best gals are trying their fate at Bollywood and in a way some are burning hands, while some are stranded in the middle of desert. Have a look at what our girls have really got there.
Starting with Asin and followed by Trisha, many Tollywood’s popular starlets are busy trying their luck in Bollywood. Ileana, Kajal Agarwal, Tamanna, Taapsee, Shraddha Das, Priya Anand, Priyamani, Samanatha, Hanshika Motwani and it goes on.
However, they say that Tamanna is having ‘better’ chances with yet to release ‘Himmatwala‘, while Ileana got some ‘good’ offers in hand and Priya Anand, Taapsee are aiming at ‘average’ slot with their unreleased flicks Rangrez and Chashme Baddoor respectively.
Tamanna has scored many points with the trailers of Himmatwala, and those meaty songs will definitely push her to bigger slots. Ileana got rave reviews with ‘Barfi‘, but her future depends on her looks in ‘Phata Poster Nikla Hero‘.
However, both Taapsee and Priya Anand are going for glamorous performing roles in the upcoming movies, and only the flicks’ success will ensure them another project.
Chances for Kajal Agarwal look quite bleak, as she got only small, ineffective roles in both Singam and Special Chabbis. Asin is nowhere in consideration by young brigade despite her 100 cr club hits, while Trisha is a missed-miss already.

However, director Sajid has refused to reveal the identity of the new addition. Moreover, Sajid has plans to commence the new project from July. Says Sajid, "My next film is with Saif, Riteish and yet another biggie. I will be mostly starting the film in July." Meanwhile, Riteish has featured in almost all of Sajid's directorial; however it will be first time the audience will see Saif and Sajid together. Rumours have that Sajid's apparent girlfriend Jacqueline Fernandez will be seen as the leading lady in the film. As of now, Sajid is gearing up for his upcoming release Himmat wala starring Ajay Devgn.
Will Ghai End Shahrukh Khan And Salman War New Delhi: Despite being aware of the arch rivalry between Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, Bollywood showman Subhash Ghai has declared that he is planning a movie with the both of them, at BAG Network's ISOMES media fest Manthan. The spat between the two star Khans is not hidden to anybody. The rift was created way back in 2008 at Katrina Kaif's birthday party. And the split only widened as none of the two Khans called it a quit and looked to patch up. However, this wait of stars' fans to see them together on the silver screen once again would soon get over as the Pardes director has claimed of making a film with the both. The director is searching the right script in which both the stars fit into their respective roles. This task doesn't seem so difficult for Subhash Ghai who has brought together two rivals together earlier as well. It was in 1991 when Ghai had brought bête noirs Dilip Kumar and Rajkumar together on the screen for Saudagar. Saudagar was the second film in which the two actors came together after the (1959) film Paigham. The Viru-Raju Jodi became a hit with the audience. The film was a Silver Jubilee success all over India and was a hit. Saudagar had got director Subhash Ghai his only Filmfare Best Director Award. Therefore, Subhash Ghai had managed a hit despite of the lead actors being foes. And this time too, the director hopes to repeat the history. Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan, before their fight, have worked together in the movie Karan Arjun in 1995. They have also worked in together in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai and Hun Tumhare Hai Sanam. Now, Subhash Ghai has taken the initiative. It will be interesting to see how long it takes to achieve the goal.

Sushant Singh Rajput to play Priyanka Chopra's love interest in Mary Kom biopic Buzz is that SLB has signed the Kai Po Che actor for his next production Some time ago, there was talk about how Sanjay Leela Bhansali was totally impressed by Sushant Singh Rajput ever since the two met, and wanted to cast him in a film right away! In fact, SLB has been on the look out for a good role for the Kai Po Che actor. Now, fresh piece of gossip suggests that he has approached Sushant to play the lead opposite Priyanka Chopra in Mary Kom : the biopic based on the Olympic bronze medalist, directed by Omang Kumar. We hear that Sushant has no qualms about playing second fiddle to PC, who is the protagonist of the film. In fact, he is quite excited about working with her, and has already given his nod! If this news is true, then Sushant has added one more high profile flick to his over-flowing kitty that already has Rajkumar Hirani's P.K., Imtiaz Ali's 22 Tango (which Shahid Kapoor was supposed to do earlier) and Maneesh Sharma's next with Parineeti Chopra (again replacing Shahid). Apart from these, he also has two more movies with Yash Raj Films' since he had signed a three-film deal with the production house. Do we already hear victory calls of Kai Po Che from Sushant?
What's the real story behind the rumour about Chitrangda Singh And Jyoti Singh Randhawa split We couldn't help mulling over the reason behind such a nasty piece oferrfiction : if that's what it really is, of course We've been talking about Chitrangda Singh and her marriage with Jyoti Singh Randhawa, the union that our feathered friends suspect is on the rocks. Is it true? Oh, we know it's none of our business to poke an ill-mannered nose into someone else's well-furnished abode, but we speak only out of concern. So, is it true? We don't know, frankly. But a dark buzz that made some speedy rounds yesterday (before disappearing into thin air) revealed that the golfer husband (not Tiger Woods, silly, Jyoti Randhawa, in this case) was spotted sneaking into his (girl)friend's house at the wee hours by an attentive neighbour. And that's the real reason why Chitrangda moved out of their Gurgaon home. Gasp! Who is this other lady' in question? And is Jyoti really having an extra-marital affair? Our heart sinks at the mention of this miserable prospect. But it also makes us wonder : so Chits' relocation has nothing to do with her commitments to Bollywood? Well, the she-birdie definitely wanted us to think so. Should we believe her? We're skeptical, more so because our pretty actor and her husband have recently made some mushy confessions assuring everyone about the blissful state of their married life. Read those, haven't you? But then if everything is so bright and shiny, why did such nasty rumours creep in and about in the first place? Misdoings of a jealous, unhappily married fan? Probably. We almost left it at that when we spotted the poster of I, Me Aur Main that compelled us to wonder: could the creative PR machinery of I, Me Aur Main be the reason? It can't really be ruled out, you see. It has happened before. And we're more than eager to believe that it's all a publicity gimmick coz it effortlessly takes our minds off the ugly shaadi mein gochi buzz. That's how we're looking at it, blinkers, pink specs and all. What about you, readers? Why do you think rumour mills are abuzz with the news on the Chitrangda Singh-Jyoti Randhawa split? And could an extra-marital affair (oh, how we hope not) be at fault here?
Is John Abraham a narcissist Those who have watched the enjoyable track Cappuccino will understand why John just can't get enough of himself There's no denying that John Abraham looks irresistibly hot in the song Cappuccino from his soon-to-release film I, Me Aur Main, but does that mean he can think so highly of himself? While the Tusshar Kapoor-Riteish Deshmukh's Cappuccino song was a spoof of UP Bihar lootne, this one is heavily inspired' by Dropkick Murphys' rock hit I'm shipping up to Boston. So this time we translate theShootout At Wadala actor's new song : English to Hindi and vice versa. Take a look and tell us what you think. Subah subah main hass ke Yeh aaine se bola Ki kuch toh seekh le oh bekhabar Tu use kuch akal kar Shakal ki na nakal kar Ki apne jaisa kaun hai idhar Morning morning I smiling This mirror to told That something learn oh oblivious You istemaal some intelligence do Face no imitate do That ours like who is here Cappuccino main haseeno ne De diya hain dil khol kar yea Sab milega, na mile toh Besabar sabar kar Dil di ja dil khol kar I Me Aur MainI Me Aur Main Cappuccino in beautiful girls Given heart open do yea Everything get, no get then Impatient patience do Heart go heart open do Main main and Imain main and I
Salman Khan comes to injured Sonu Sood's aid Normally we see producers worrying about schedules and budgets going haywire when the main lead suffers a major injury, however, it is different in actor Sonu Sood's case. Sonu, who suffered multiple fractures in his right leg earlier this week while playing for Celebrity Cricket League, is believed to have expressed more concern for his filmmakers. However, it is learnt that his friends suggested that he focus on recovering first and then think about his producers. But Sonu being his true genuine self, called up the producers he was committed to, as soon he got out of the operation theatre, and offered to return their signing amounts because he didn't want any filmmaker to suffer or wait for him for six weeks. It is learnt that while the producers of the Zanjeer remake told him to get well soon, Prabhudheva told Sonu that he had changed the schedule of his movie to facilitate shooting with him after his recovery. But the biggest surprise came when he was offered a flick by Salman Khan. Little birdie chirps that after inquiring about his progress, Salman bewildered Sonu by suggesting that he do Salman's role in the Hindi remake of Mahesh Manjrekar's Marathi movie. Sources say that Salman told Sonu that he wouldn't have any problem shooting as the character was required to be on wheelchair and later, crutches. So Sonu's dates wouldn't go waste like those for his other films that are under-production. Let's see what Sonu decides now!
Sushant Singh Rajput Says Kai Po Che has given me the experience and the brothers for life TV actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who earned big fame playing the beloved Manav in Balaji Telefilms' Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV, has now made a successful transition to Bollywood with recently released Kai Po Che. The film based on Chetan Bhagat's The Three Mistakes of My Life is directed by Rock On fameAbhishek Kapoor and also has Amit Sadh, Rajkumar Yadav and Amrita Puri in key roles. It has opened well and is winning the masses across the globe. Apparently, Sushant is quite elated and is enjoying the success. Quizzed about his debut film's success and the response, he said, "The film is being liked by one and all and what better response can an actor get for his film? I have earned a lot from this film, the experience and the brothers for life". Speaking further about the next ventures and replacing Shahid Kapoor in one of Aditya Chopra's productions, he said, "Well, I don't look it that way. He is a great performer. I just want to make the character my own when I start working on a script. If as an actor you can make people believe in your character, you will not disappoint. It is as easy and difficult at the same time. I am just honestly working hard to achieve it. I hope Shahid likes my performance. We have nearly completed 60-70 per cent of the film." Coming to his future aspiration, he said, "Direction is something that I'm very interested in. I wish to make short films and send them to film festivals. I had planned to take few years off and go to the US and do a film-making course. But I don't think I will be able to get that much time now, so I will be learning from my directors". Wish you good luck Sushant!
Will Randeep Hooda be playing his brooding self in Highway as well In his decade long career we have seen actor Randeep Hooda playing his brooding self in almost all her films. Even in his latest film Murder 3, where he played the lead, had him playing a brooding man. And this makes us wonder how his part has shaped up in Highway which is all set to go on floors. "Right from his debut film as a lead, D to now Murder 3, there is this particular body language and dialogue delivery that Randeep has adopted. That is his strength and he is playing it all well too. "In fact this is something that got him brownie points in four back to back successes that he enjoyed in the form of Jism 2, Jannat 2, Saheb Biwi Aur Gangsterand Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai. In each of these four films he has played a no-nonsense character who doesn't mind pulling a trigger when need be," comments an observer. And now considering that Highway is a love story with a thriller element to it as well, there are all the chances of Randeep continuing with what he is best at. "However with petite Alia Bhatt coming into picture, there may just be something surprising in the offering, given the fact that this first time jodi' is indeed different," says a source. "Moreover Imtiaz's leading men are closer to reality than being dramatic, case in point being Abhay Deol (Socha Na Tha),Shahid Kapoor (Jab We Met), Saif Ali Khan (Love Aaj Kal) or Ranbir Kapoor (Rockstar). Also, producer Sajid Nadiadwala's films cater to a larger segment of audience instead of aiming at impressing niche audience. There is something interesting being planned with Randeep," adds the source. We wonder what plans Imtiaz has for Randeep!
Hrithik And Katrina to share passionate kiss again New Delhi: When Hrithik Roshan and Katrina Kaif locked lips last time in Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara, they left fans with raised eyebrows. Its intensity was sizzling, good enough to set the silver screen on fire. And now the history will repeat itself. The duo is ready to share a passionate kiss in Fox Star Studios' new film Bang Bang. The film is the official remake of Hollywood movie, Knight and Day, which starred Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz. Both Krrish and Kat's pairing was appreciated by their fans in Zoya Akhtars ZNMD, and now it will be interesting to watch them play the roles that Cruise and Diaz played in the original. Bang Bang will be directed by Siddharth Anand and is expected to go on floors later this year. Siddharth's last film was Ranbir Kapoor-Priyanka Chopra starrer Anjaana Anjaani, which released in 2010. Currently, Hrithik is busy with his next project, Krrish 3. While shooting of Krrish 3 was going on, Hrithik made sure that everything related to his forthcoming superhero movie was kept under wraps. On a query, Hrithik told reporters, "I feel that the security is justified because when you create something special, you want it to be presented the way it is suppose to be and at the right time." "Krrish has a certain superhero image. Sometimes when I am resting on the sets and someone takes a candid picture, then the whole image of a superhero can be ruined," he said. "I may say this for all my films, but Krrish 3 is really my toughest challenge. The challenge is still not over," the actor added.

Day into Match Play semis after impressive wins Australia's Jason Day powered past Masters champion Bubba Watson and Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell to secure a berth in the WGC Match Play Championship semi-finals. Day will meet Matt Kuchar in the final four after beating McDowell 1-up in a closely contested quarter-final. Earlier on Saturday, Day beat Watson 4 and 3 to reach the quarter-final. Defending champion Hunter Mahan will meet 2010 winner Ian Poulter in the other semi-final. Poulter will be a little fresher, having gone 4-up on Steve Stricker after 12 holes before wrapping up his win by sinking a 10-foot par putt at the short 16th. The flamboyant Englishman, who is renowned for his match-play grit and superb putting, went ahead for the first time at the par-three third where he sank a double-breaking 40-footer for birdie while Stricker missed his attempt from seven feet. American Mahan made it through to the semis after triumphing 1-up in a tight match with US Open winner Webb Simpson.
Brumbies sign George Smith ACT Brumbies coach Jake White has hailed the signing of former Wallaby George Smith after securing the flanker on a short-term deal. Smith's Japanese club Suntory Sungoliath has allowed him to take up a 12-week stint with the Canberra side following a season-ending injury to Brumbies back rower Ita Vaea. Smith will start training with the Canberra-based side next week and could be considered for selection for the home game against the NSW Waratahs on March 9. "It's exciting news for the club that we have been able to bring George back to Canberra," Brumbies coach Jake White said in a statement on the team's website. "He's achieved a great deal in the game and was an important part of the team for many years, so naturally everyone at the Brumbies will be pleased to have him back. "George's record and ability to win games is outstanding. "The guy has won Super Rugby championships, he's won big games for the Wallabies and he's played in a rugby World Cup final so I want him to bring that winning culture back here to the Brumbies." Smith has played 110 Tests for the Wallabies and last played for the Brumbies in 2010. He played a season in France with Toulon before moving to Japan last year. Brumbies assistant coach Stephen Larkham says Smith has been brought in as cover following the season-ending injury of back rower Ita Vaea. Smith will gve the Brumbies a formidable formidable back row that already includes Wallabies flanker and new recruit David Pocock. "Everyone wants to play alongside George Smith He's playing some very good rugby," Pocock told reporters in Sydney on Monday. "You can always learn off George. Apart from the on-field stuff, off the field he's a great guy to have around as well." The Brumbies sit on top of the overall Super Rugby ladder after winning their first two matches.
Franklin escapes punishment Hawthorn star Lance Franklin has escaped punishment for his high contact in Saturday's AFL preseason cup match against Gold Coast. Franklin caught Suns youngster Matt Shaw across the neck and shoulder as they contested the ball, conceding a free kick. The match review panel ruled on Monday that Shaw had cut across Franklin's path to intercept the ball. "The panel said that Franklin had his hand open in a bid to gather the ball when contact was made and it was their view the action was not a striking action," the league said in a statement. The panel also cleared Gold Coast player Andrew Boston for high contact he made on Brisbane's Claye Beams. Carlton's Levi Casboult will face no charge for his collision with GWS player Matt Buntine after the panel ruled it was accidental.
Kuchar wins World Match Play American Matt Kuchar won the World Golf Championships Match Play event with a 2 and 1 win over defending champion and countryman Hunter Mahan. Kuchar took down Australian Jason Day 4 and 3 in the morning semi-final before backing it up with an impressive win over Mahan in the championship final. It was the first WGC title for the affable 34-year-old and fifth US PGA Tour win, netting him a cool $US1.5 million ($A1.45 million) and moving him to eighth in the world rankings. Day managed to beat Englishman Ian Poulter in the consolation final 1-up to take third place, allowing him to move to 35th in the new global rankings. In cold and windy conditions on the Dove Mountain course, the American pair halved the opening three holes in the championship match before Kuchar won four of the next five to race to a 4-up lead through eight holes. Mahan started to fashion a comeback with wins on the 10th and 11th holes but stalled with a loss on 13 before getting back to just 2-down with a birdie win on 14. When Kuchar bogeyed the 16th, Mahan was back in the contest, just one down with two to play but, after a terrible lie in the fairway bunker on the second-last hole, he hacked his approach into a waste area. Unable to advance the ball very far, Mahan then couldn't hole out from distance, conceding the hole and the match to his countryman. Day was 2-down to Poulter through six holes but won the seventh, eighth and ninth to gain a 1-up lead. He won the 12th with a par to double his advantage and went 3-up when Poulter bogeyed the 14th but the Australian struggled to close out the match. Day bogeyed the 16th and 17th holes to keep the Englishman alive and needed to make a nine-foot par on the last to close the deal. "I won three holes straight, and we were kind of laughing and giggling out there for the first nine and, once we turned the corner on 10, everything got real serious," Day said. "He obviously made a couple of good clutch pars on 16 and 17." Day was disappointed to bow out in the semis but optimistic about the week in its entirety where he beat three major champions and an impressive rookie. "I just wasn't quite sharp, not as sharp as yesterday this morning. I just came out this morning a little flat and made a lot of mental errors out there and just pretty much gave the game to Kuch so I am a little disappointed," Day said. "But I think the whole week in itself is a positive week for me. "I played good golf against great golfers."
Mickey wants top-order tons Australia coach Mickey Arthur has praised the maturity of debutant Moises Henriques and called upon the team's top-order batsmen to ensure their starts are not wasted in the second Test against India. Australia's top four of Ed Cowan (29 and 32), David Warner (59 and 23), Phil Hughes (6 and 0) and Shane Watson (28 and 17) were unable to get the big hundred Australia desperately needed to be competitive in the first Test which India won by eight wickets in Chennai on Tuesday. Henriques made a huge contribution at number seven with two half-centuries (68 and 81 not out). Skipper Michael Clarke (130 and 31) continued his glorious form and was robbed of a bigger score in the second dig by a sharp-turning ball out of the rough which allowed off spinner Ravi Ashwin to dismiss the right-hander lbw. "I just think the maturity he (Henriques) showed was amazing," Arthur told reporters. "I thought he was outstanding in this Test match. "That was very, very pleasing because it gives you that third or fourth seamer and it gives you another batsman." Henriques also took 1 for 48 from 17 overs in a solid performance as India plundered a first-innings total of 572 from Australia's attack including MS Dhoni's 224 and Virat Kohli's 107. The 26-year-old New South Wales seamer's versatility and cool head under pressure offer Australia's selectors the option to use the medium-pacer in a first-change role and play two specialist spinners in the second Test in Hyderabad beginning on Saturday. Arthur has put the heat on his top order to fire with the four-match series on the line. "We certainly would have liked somebody to go on and get a really big score because when we got partnerships going the wicket looked flat," he said. "We saw that with our last-wicket partnership (of 66 between Henriques and Nathan Lyon in Australia's second innings which was the team's second-highest stand of the match). "We need guys to get hundreds. Your first innings is so important. "If your first innings is in excess of 400 you're really putting yourself in the game." Arthur backed wicketkeeper/batsman Matthew Wade to remain at number six despite a 20-run match compared to Henriques' starring performance at number seven.
Jets take points from Wellington Life without Ricki Herbert began on a dispiriting note for the Wellington Phoenix, whose A-League play-off hopes have virtually disappeared with a 2-1 loss to the Newcastle Jets. The last-placed Phoenix produced a listless home display for interim coach Chris Greenacre, who had a day to prepare his team following the sudden resignation of six-year mentor Herbert. His team failed to rise to the occasion in front of a small crowd of 4,025 on Wednesday, their lack of cohesion allowing a slick Jets side to dominate and cement their place inside the top six. The Phoenix remain rooted on 21 points, still six points outside the top six and with little hope of infiltrating the play-offs with just four games remaining. The visitors broke a long drought in Wellington to climb to fifth on 30 points, although they have played one more game than fringe rivals Melbourne Heart and Sydney FC on 27. The sudden departure of classy striker Ryan Griffiths to Chinese Super League club Beijing Baxi FC rocked the Jets this week but their front division showed few ill-effects. They found space easily, particularly in the first half when strikers Adam Taggart and Michael Bridges put them 2-0 ahead. Taggart, 19, was unmarked eight metres out from goal in the 19th minute to side-foot home a Joshua Brillante cross while more poor defending allowed the excellent Bridges to score with a low header off a free kick a minute before half-time. The second half was a more even affair and former Jet Jeremy Brockie pulled a goal back in the 60th minute after Louis Fenton struck a point-blank shot straight at the face of goalkeeper Mark Birighitti. Brockie rocketed the rebound in for his 13th goal of the season. The Jets still created the clearer chances from them, the best falling to Craig Goodwin, who cracked a shot straight at goalkeeper Glen Moss, playing his 100th A-League match. Fenton was at the heart of the Phoenix's best moments but the visitors defended efficiently, led by Regan Taylor. The result tipped history on its head for Newcastle, which had not won in Wellington since its first visit in 2007, which was followed by eight Phoenix wins and a draw. The Jets also had not won any away match since round six this season. Their concern ahead of Sunday's visit to the Melbourne Victory will be injuries which forced Zenon Caravella and Sam Gallaway from the field. The Phoenix face an "away" game against the Melbourne Heart in Dunedin on Sunday, seeking to add to their one win in 10 matches in 2013. Newcastle: 2 (A Taggart 19′, M Bridges 44′) Wellington: 1 (J Brockie 60′)
Rising England star on drugs when hit by train One of English crickets rising stars died after being electrocuted on a railway line and then struck by a train as he attempted to flee police while drunk and on drugs, a coroner's inquest was told Tuesday. Surrey batsman Tom Maynard, widely regarded as a future England international, was found dead near Wimbledon Park station on the London Underground network in the early morning on June 18 last year. The 23-year-old son of former England batsman Matthew Maynard was electrocuted after stepping on a live track before he was hit by a train, causing him to die from multiple injuries, Westminster Coroner's Court in central London heard. Maynard had earlier been stopped by police nearby after his black Mercedes was seen driving erratically, but he then fled the vehicle and left his keys in the ignition. A post-mortem examination revealed alcohol levels in his body four times above the legal limit for drivers and that he had taken cocaine and ecstasy in the form of MDMA after a night out with his two flatmates. Tests on hair samples indicated Maynard may have been a regular drug user for as long as three-and-a-half months before his death, the inquest heard. Forensic pathologist Simon Poole told the inquest that it was impossible to say whether electrocution or the impact of the train had killed Maynard. Cardiff-born Maynard, who came through the ranks at Glamorgan, where his father had been a key player and later a coach, was a member of the second-string England Lions squad that toured Bangladesh and Sri Lanka last year. A formal verdict on his death has yet to be given. In a statement issued Tuesday via the Professional Cricketers' Association, the Maynard family urged that Tom's life not be defined by the evidence heard at the inquest. "The results of the inquest do not define our son," the statement said, adding: "The fact that so very many people thought the world of him is what defines him as a person. "The only people who would judge Tom on the findings of the inquest are people who didn't know him. "He made choices that night that tragically cost him his life but his devastated family and friends will love and miss him unconditionally, always. "He was a very special person and his death leaves a huge hole in all our lives."
Stewart's contract approved by NRL The Manly Sea Eagles have received a boost ahead of next week's opening round of the NRL season with confirmation star full-back Brett Stewart's contract has been approved by the game's auditors. Manly faced the possibility of having to cut players to accommodate Stewart who is reported to be on a salary of more than $500,000 in 2013. NRL salary cap auditor Ian Schubert met with Manly officials late last week and the club confirmed on Thursday Stewart's contract has now been approved. The New South Wales Origin full-back is expected to take his place in the Manly side to play the Broncos in Brisbane next Friday night. Manly general manager David Perry said no players have had to be cut from the Sea Eagles squad. "The club has been working closely with the NRL for some time and have had to comply, like every other NRL club, to get to this point," Perry said. "I understand there has been a degree of frustration in relation to the issue but this process takes time and is complicated for all involved. "This is the first time that the Sea Eagles have faced such an issue, however it is not unprecedented with other clubs over the years. "We can now look forward to getting on with a big year of football and a promising season for the game."
Wallabies out of Super duty before Lions Wallabies players will be quarantined for three weeks leading into the British and Irish Lions series in a protective move which has defied Australia's Super Rugby franchises and could open another can of worms. Queensland, New South Wales and the Brumbies have been forced to fall into line behind Wallabies coach Robbie Deans after the Australian Rugby Union (ARU) on Thursday ruled 25 Test players would participate in an extended camp. The controversial move was expected despite all five Australian franchises opposing Deans' wishes at a high-performance meeting late last year. The Reds, Brumbies and Waratahs : set to have the highest representation of Wallabies : were most outspoken as the three-week camp will rob them of their star players for matches on June 7, 8 and 9. While Queensland plays the Lions in a potential blockbuster at Lang Park, the Brumbies take on the Rebels and New South Wales plays the Western Force in penultimate-round local derbies which could be crucial to their Super Rugby play-off hopes. But new ARU chief executive Bill Pulver has attempted to appease the Waratahs and Brumbies by saying Wallabies could be released if their finals hopes are on the line. "If those Super Rugby matches have significant bearing on the competition standings, and finals spots are at stake, the ARU will take that under serious consideration," Pulver said in a statement. If that did occur, and the Rebels and Force were not boosted by the release of their top Wallabies, then rival teams across the competition would be rightly aggrieved by what would be seen as a significant leg-up. Brumbies coach Jake White would also want all his best players for the entire week, after stressing the late return of Wallabies one or two days pre-game was not good enough. Waratahs counterpart Michael Cheika has also warned an extended camp would leave Wallabies players short of match fitness for the June 22 first Test against a finely-tuned top Lions outfit which would play three games in the same time. The All Blacks (2005) and Springboks (2009) also rested their Test players leading into tour matches but they did not take them out of Super Rugby fixtures. When the Wallabies beat the Lions 2-1 in 2001, players were barred from representing the Waratahs and Brumbies but were released to play for the Reds a fortnight before the first Test. "There is no doubt, from an Australian Rugby perspective, that when the Lions come to Australia the primary objective is for the Wallabies to win the three-Test series and preparation is crucial," Pulver said.
Tuqiri suffers another NRL injury setback Lote Tuqiri's wretched run with injuries has continued with the Wests Tigers winger set to miss the first four months of the NRL season due to an arm injury. Tuqiri underwent surgery on Tuesday after scans showed the broken arm he suffered in July last year had failed to heal. A devastated Tuqiri said he was determined to return to the field despite the setback. "I was really looking forward to helping the club have the success that everyone is after this year," Tuqiri said in a statement released by the club on Thursday. "I have to accept the reality. I will work hard on my rehab and hope to make a contribution later in the year." On Tuesday, Tuqiri underwent bone grafts and had two plates inserted into the arm. The 33-year-old has been dogged by injuries since returning to the NRL from rugby union in 2010. The broken left upper arm brought Tuqiri's 2012 season to a premature end and, the year before, he suffered a broken wrist. The latest setback has put Tuqiri's future under a cloud. He is signed to a one-year contract at the Tigers. New coach Mick Potter vowed the club would do everything it could to get Tuqiri back on the field. "Lote has worked hard in preseason training. He was doing all the fitness work but hasn't been able to get a clearance from the surgeon to do any contact work," Potter said. "We will do everything we can to support his rehabilitation and our main priority is to ensure that he fully recovers."
Ne-Yo's tough vegan diet Ne-Yo admits turning vegan is one of the hardest things he's ever had to do. The Because of You' hitmaker decided to give up meat and any animal-based products for at least 30 days, and while he is feeling the benefits, he says it's been a very tough time. He said: I've gone vegan. There are more difficult things, but this is definitely a test of discipline. I just wanted to see if I could. It's one of the most challenging diets and ways of life there is out there. No meat, nothing derived from animals. I can't even eat honey as it comes from bees. I haven't killed anybody yet! I told myself I'd do, at the very least, 30 days. As far as energy levels and all of that, there's a very obvious change. On the other hand, there's been other days when I could kill someone for a hamburger.' The R&B star is now one of the biggest names in the music industry but admits even he gets star-struck but tries to remain cool. When asked who is the most famous person he's urinated next to, Ne-Yo told The Youthgossip.com: Kanye West. I don't even think he saw me. He was a couple of urinals down. I wouldn't dare run up and be like: Hey!' You don't run up to people and try and shake their hand in the bathroom : you just don't. I let the man do his business : and then shook his hand later on in the night. That's toilet etiquette.'

The Promise This' hitmaker is concerned she has developed Tourette's Syndrome : a condition where sufferers are stricken by physical and verbal tics and spontaneously shout out obscene language : because she can't keep her foul mouth under control. She tweeted: Question! Can you develop turrets at age 29?? Have had a few involuntary outbursts lately?!!! (sic)' When a fan suggested it could be the result of returning to her fellow crazy Geordies' in her hometown of Newcastle upon Tyne for Girl's Aloud's tour earlier this week, she added: Maybe that's it!! (sic)' Cheryl has previously admitted to sending an expletive-filled text message to Simon Cowell after she was fired from The X Factor USA just days into her contract. I believed we had a good friendship and couldn't understand why he hadn't been straight with me. I wrote the longest text ever. F**k you, f**k Britain's Got Talent', f**k the orange and purple outfit. F**k big hair. F**k the UK X Factor. F**k you all. I hate you. I understand you're a businessman, and what I've learned from this is business means more to you than friendship. I'm sad it's got like this and I wish you the best of luck, but count me out.' Simon texted back, Can I talk to you?' I ignored him.'

After the Academy Awards many stars went and let their hair down to mark the night. Host Seth MacFarlane, who was extremely critical' of his performance on stage during the ceremony, took to the dancefloor at his own after-party at The Lot club in West Hollywood, and he partied until the early hours. His sister Rachael said: He seemed happy, he seemed relaxed. He was having a blast at his party. He was feeling no pain at around two in the morning.' Ben Affleck shaved off his beard at Craig's restaurant after refusing to remove it during awards season as it was his lucky charm for his film Argo' : which was named Best Picture. A source said: He did it to mark the end of a chapter. It had that ceremonial quality to it.'
Kevin Bacon's vagabond life Kevin Bacon and his wife Kyra Sedgwick live like vagabonds'. The Following' actor and his actress spouse : who have two children together, Travis, 23, and Sosie, 20 : are so used to travelling for their respective careers, they have bags packed and ready to go at all times. He said: Even though we've got a real solid thing and we are homebodies, we're also vagabonds. We've had the suitcase packed our entire lives together and go from job to job to job, to this town and that town.' The 54-year-old star added that his jet-setting lifestyle in film made him reluctant to do a TV show, but his wife : who starred on TV drama The Closer' for seven years : helped him overcome his attitude. He explained to Youthgossip.com : I started acting at a time when television wasn't where you wanted to go if you wanted to make movies. But I turned around four or five years ago and said, What are you doing? You love TV, your wife is on a television show, you're directing television, when you get together with your friends, that's what you're talking about', so I threw my hat into the ring. She said some really obvious stuff such as, Think long and hard because if it works, you're going to be playing this guy for a long time'. In some ways that was one of the biggest things that frightened me. The idea of playing one character for a long time was a frightening thing.'
Cara Delevingne Women don't understand Rihanna Cara Delevingne thinks women don't understand' Rihanna. The British model struck up a friendship with the Diamonds' hitmaker two years ago and says she can always rely on her singer pal to look after her when she visits the US. Cara : who walked in Rihanna's River Island show at London Fashion Week : said: The Rihanna show was fun. I met her when she was here two years ago doing a gig. And then she sang at the Victoria's Secret show and we hung out. She looks after me when I go to LA. While Cara enjoys spending time with Rihanna, fashion insiders say people are always delighted to be with the 20-year-old beauty because she is so fun'. Stylist Katie Grand told Youthgossip.com : Of course she'll generate publicity, but for me she's just someone fun to have around. When she had her fitting for Marc Jacobs she squeezed him on the shoulder and said, Shall we go for a drink at the nearest gay bar.?' She doesn't do it to get on, she's naturally sociable and fun.'
Clive Davis doesn't blame Bobby Brown Clive Davis doesn't blame Whitney Houston's ex-husband for her death. The music mogul : who managed the I Will Always Love You Singer' singer after discovering her when she was just 20 : believes her former husband Bobby Brown, 44, was not responsible for her problems with drugs before her accidental drowning in a hotel bathtub in February 2012, which was caused by heart disease and cocaine use. The 80-year-old executive told the Youthgossip.com: I don't believe it was Bobby Brown. I think they did have a co-dependent, unhealthy relationship with each other. But I would never point to him. I have no idea who her enabler was.' Clive, who recently revealed he is bisexual, also dismissed speculation that Whitney, who was 48, once had a romantic relationship with her former assistant Robyn Crawford. He said: I really saw her in brief relationships with men. I do write about that she did have an interim relationship with Jermaine Jackson when he was separated. I know that she went out with Eddie Murphy for a while until she married Bobby Brown. I only knew of Robin as her assistant, someone she grew up with, since she was a teenager. I just knew the heterosexual side of Whitney.' Bobby : who was jailed for 55-days and placed on four years of summary probation for his most recent drunk driving arrest in Los Angeles on Monday (26.02.13) : was married to Whitney for 14-years and they had one child together Bobbi Kristina Brown, 19. Whitney's mother Cissy Houston previously admitted she didn't think Whitney's death was Bobby's fault either. Writing in her book Remembering Whitney', Cissy explained: I think Bobby was Nippy's [Whitney] rebellion. Around him, she didn't have to be the perfect girl. Yet I don't blame Bobby for introducing her to drugs.' Cissy tried numerous times to make Whitney quit drugs and details one attempt in 2000 when Whitney refused to go to rehab.
