Miss New Mexico: Raelene Aguilar, Busted For DUI
Probably not since Lindsay Lohan's pair of slutty booking photos have we seen a mug shot this damn hot. Raelene Aguilar, who's Miss New Mexico USA 2008, was arrested after driving drunk in El Paso, Texas, yesterday at 3:48 a.m.Raelene was busted after the cops originally pulled her over for speeding. Always a good way to keep the attention away from yourself. They gave her a a field sobriety test, which she failed. She was booked into county jail at 6:00 a.m.
Aguilar went before a judge and was eventually bailed out for $600, but not before showcasing her natural good looks in the booking photo below ...
The president of the Miss Universe Organization Paula Shugart, a bigwig at Miss USA, reportedly said of Raelene Aguilar, "She has our deepest sympathies and we're hoping she can make it through this difficult time. She's a good person."
As Tara Conner will attest, those Miss USA folks are a forgiving bunch.
Aguilar, whose reign as Miss New Mexico USA came to a close at the end of 2008, said through her attorney that she is innocent and will contest these charges.
Sarah and Bristol Palin B!tch-Slap Levi Johnston
While Barack and Michelle Obama are meeting heads of state, giving rousing speeches and winning raves for their representation of America (and fashion) in Europe, Sarah Palin is dealing with important diplomatic matters of her own.Specifically, the Alaska Governor is lashing out against Levi Johnston for blabbing on TV about having sex with Bristol, her 18-year-old daughter.
After taking about having sex with Bristol Palin - and implying Sarah Palin knew he was doing so - on The Tyra Banks Show, Levi, 19, the father of Bristol's baby – was slapped with a blistering response from Sarah and Bristol.
The Palin family rep said in a statement:
"Bristol did not even know Levi was going on the show. We are very disappointed that Levi and his family, in a quest for fame, attention, and fortune, are engaging in flat-out lies, gross exaggeration, and even distortion of their relationship."
"Bristol's focus remains on raising Tripp, completing her education, and advocating abstinence. It is unfortunate that Levi finds it more appealing to exploit his previous relationship with Bristol than to contribute to the well being of the child."
Damn, you pretty much got served there, Levi.
The statement ends, saying, "Bristol realizes now that she made a mistake in her relationship and is the one taking responsibility for their actions." Owned again!
On the show, which airs Monday, April 6, Johnston tells Tyra Banks that he believes Sarah Palin knew he and Bristol were having sex when they lived under her roof.
The couple, who were high school sweethearts, were forced to claim that they planned to wed after graduation – but ended up splitting earlier this year.
In other Palin family news, the half sister of Sarah's husband Todd Palin was accused of breaking into the same Wasilla, Alaska, house twice to steal money.
Diana Palin, 35, was charged with felony burglary and misdemeanor criminal trespass and theft stemming from two break-ins. Solid week all around.
An Ugly truth about Katrina-Aishwarya battle
After there were talks all around about Aishwarya Rai Bachchan being immortalized as a Barbie doll, there was speculation that Genelia D’Souza was considered too because of her doll like and younger face.Then suddenly it came out that Katrina Kaif will be the Barbie and she claimed that Ash was not in the running at all.
She also went around telling whoever cared to listen that she’s the first Indian to get that privilege.
Well, many ridiculed that claim of hers as she holds a British passport.
And Kat might claim that she has nothing against Ash and she respects her and all that, but smart cookie Ash isn't one to stay quiet without clarifying things.
She said she refused the Barbie doll deal due to her professional commitments.
In fact her representatives were in negotiations with Barbie's manufacturer Mattel, who planned to give the iconic doll a Bollywood face. But the deal did not take off.
In fact since 1994 when Aishwarya won the Miss World title, the company has made numerous attempts to make a celebrity doll modelled on the Indian beauty.
However, she could never make time for their endeavour, due to her professional commitments. Again on the doll's 50th anniversary, Aishwarya was approached to appear decked up as a celebrity Barbie but she had to opt out of that too due to her prior commitments with film-makers whose shoots clashed with the events.
A statement issued by Aishwarya's spokesperson said, "Mattel was keen to have the actress walk the ramp on Lakme Fashion Week 'Barbie dolled up' in a winning design as Single Likeness Barbie, which would be unveiled and auctioned for a charity of her choice."
God alone knows what the whole truth is. Hopefully we’ll get a glimpse of the whole truth one fine day Till then, Katrina can shut up and enjoy it all.
Big B(Amitabh) and Tabu together again
Debutant director Balkrishnan struck gold with his Amitabh Bachchan-Tabu pairing in the sweet romantic movie, 'Cheeni Kum'. Since then, Big B and Tabu haven’t paired up in any other movie. Now, Chandraprakash Dwivedi’s 'The Legend of Kunal', produced by AB Corp in association with Reliance’s Big Entertainment, is throwing these two stars together.The Legend is a period piece on the life of the Mauryan King Ashoka. Big B is, of course, going to be playing the valiant king, and Tabu has signed on to play the role of Ashoka’s young and assertive wife Tishyarakshita. The film’s focus is Ashoka’s relationship with his son Kunal. Though the project was slated to start shooting in June, it’s been postponed to November.
