Petra Nemcova Sexy Wallpapers and Photo shoots
Nicknamed the "Czech Chick," Petra Nemcova was born on June 24, 1979 in Karviná, Czechoslovakia. Nemcova began modeling at 16 years old, after she was spotted in a national talent competition.
After dabbling in French film, Nemcova made a splash in 2003, appearing on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. Proving to be a hit in the United States, Nemcova went on to model for the covers of such magazines as Elle, Harper's Bazaar, and also appeared in advertisements for Cartier and Victoria's Secret. On June 3, 2004, Nemcova served as one of the judges at the 53rd annual Miss Universe competition.
On December 26, 2004, Nemcova and her fiancé, British photographer, Simon Atlee, were staying at the Khao Lak resort in Thailand when the deadliest tsunami in history rocked the coastal regions of Asia and Africa. Atlee did not survive; however, Nemcova, suffering a broken pelvis and serious internal injuries, clung naked to the top of a palm tree for eight hours until Thai civilians rescued the model and airlifted her to an inland hospital. After spending three weeks in the hospital, Nemcova flew home to spend an additional three weeks in hospital in the Czech Republic.
Less than three months after the disaster, Nemcova appeared with Diane Sawyer on ABC's Primetime Live, to give her first interview since the tsunami. Since then, Nemcova continues to tell her story, and has been interviewed about her ordeal by such magazines as Sports Illustrated, Harpers & Queen, Vegas, Glamour, In Style, and Self.
Following her traumatic experience in South East Asia, Petra was interviewed by Anderson Cooper on his CNN program, A.C.360. Anderson, who himslef has experienced perosnl loss and tragedy in his life was truely sympathic to the model's harrowing story.
Nemcova has founded the Happy Hearts Fund, which provides disaster relief aid to children, and receives a portion of the model’s own proceeds from fashion shoots. She has also penned her life story, Love Always, Petra, of which all proceeds go toward the Happy Hearts Fund. The book chronicles her life growing up in Czechoslovakia under Communist rule; her career in fashion; and her life with fiancee, Simon Atlee.
In sharing her story, Nemcova has changed the public’s perception of a model’s life as picture-perfect, and reflected on her own change in perspective. During an interview with Self magazine, she revealed: "Before the tsunami I was addicted to laxatives. I began taking them at the end of 2002. Eventually, I was up to six a day and feeling incredibly drained. Like many models, Id be told to lose 10 pounds, and even though I was getting a lot of positive feedback about my appearance, I wanted my stomach to be smaller. Finally I reached a point where I felt weak and exhausted, so with Simons encouragement, I started tapering from six pills to five, and so on. I took the last pills a few days before the tsunami. Now I treat my body with the respect it deserves. There’s so much suffering in the world, I don’t want to inflict more on myself for no reason."
In 2005 Petra met British singer James Blunt and a romantic liaison ensued. However, more recently, in November 2006, it was rumoured that Blunt had been spotted with Lindsay Lohan and that the relationship between him and Petra was over. Petra Nemcova has not commited to this rumour.

Rachel Bilson Biography:
Born in Los Angeles, California in 1981, Rachelle Jade Bilson was always treated like a princess. Her older brothers and parents spoiled her from birth and she grew up quite comfortably as a result. She had a natural flair for dramatics even before hitting the stage or standing in front of a camera.
Her family encouraged her to put her attitude to use by becoming an actress and so, when she was 7 years old, her parents helped their daughter land her first role in the film, The Wrong Guys, with comedian Louie Anderson. Rachel continued to audition for roles during her early years at Notre Dame High School. Through the recommendation of a close friend, she received a part in the seven-episode miniseries, Human Target. The role was small, but it helped
Bilson realize that acting was something she wanted to do full-time. Following graduation, she pursued this new passion and hired an agent, who helped get her foot in the door.
Rachel Bilson's first high-profile gig was on stage, in a production of Bye Bye Birdie. She figured prominently in the play and used the experience as a launching pad for two more theatrical productions: The Crucible and Once Upon a Mattress. She had landed a solid role on a fantasy series called It's True in 1998, but the show never took off because CBS couldn't find the financing to air it. Despite this letdown, Bilson continued to plug away and starred in a television commercial for Subway before finally coming into her own. Bilson reached new heights in 2003, she appeared in an episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and 8 Simple Rules... for Dating My Teenage Daughter before landing the lead role in a short film called Unbroken.
Thanks to this exposure, Rachel Bilson was invited to attend an audition for FOX's potential new hit, The O.C. The show was aiming to target the same audience as previously successful shows like Beverly Hills, 90210 and Melrose Place. This was perfectly in line with Bilson's capabilities, whose youthful, vibrant personality and sexy look impressed the producers of The O.C.. They cast her as Summer Roberts, best friend of Marissa Cooper (played by Mischa Barton) and spoiled beauty who personifies the "Valley Girl" stereotype. Since the show's smashing debut in the summer of 2003, Bilson has become a much-talked about new star and has been featured in such magazines as Zink, Stuff, CosmoGirl, and YM. Rachel and co-star Adam Brody play cute couple Summer and Seth on The O.C., but rumors are flying that they're dating off-screen as well. Although they repeatedly deny any romantic attachment, they've been spotted together all around town, shopping in LA's trendy districts, hitting the clubs, and having major make-out sessions!

She took up competitive figure skating at the age of four and acting at the age twelve4 at a summer theatre camp in St. Thomas, Ontario named Original Kids. When the company extended to a year-round company (and eventually relocated to London, Ontario), she was invited to continue with them. She attended the Myrtle Street Public School5 and the publicly-funded secondary school Central Elgin Collegiate Institute in St. Thomas from grade nine to OAC and starred in the Award-winning student production I Live in a Little Town. Rachel McAdams' Career as a Celebrity:
McAdams played the titular role in the film The Hot Chick alongside Rob Schneider, but her career really took off when she starred as Regina George, the "queen-bee" in 2004's Mean Girls. McAdams was told to partly model the character of Regina George after Alec Baldwin's performance in Glengarry Glen Ross (1992). She was much older than the character she played. McAdams had previously appeared in the Canadian television series Slings and Arrows, alongside Paul Gross. She played a main role in the first season, but due to her rising stardom was written out of the second season, appearing in only the first episode. She followed Mean Girls with the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' novel The Notebook, alongside Ryan Gosling, with whom she would later begin an off-screen romance.6
In 2005, she played Owen Wilson's love interest in Wedding Crashers and then starred in the suspense thriller Red Eye as Lisa Reisert, where she played a young woman held captive aboard a red-eye flight by criminal-for-hire and assassin Jackson Rippner (Cillian Murphy). Rachel was in The Family Stone where she starred in an ensemble cast alongside Diane Keaton, Craig T. Nelson, Sarah Jessica Parker, Dermot Mulroney, Luke Wilson, Brian J. White and Claire Danes. McAdams auditioned for the role of Sue Storm in Fantastic Four, and only just lost the part to Jessica Alba.7
McAdam's career slowed down in 2006. She was originally signed on as the female lead in The Last Kiss but had to drop out due to scheduling conflicts, and the role was given to Jacinda Barrett. She decided to take a year off from acting, to spend time with friends and family. McAdams then signed on to star in the drama Married Life with Pierce Brosnan and Patricia Clarkson. She turned down the role of bond girl "Vesper Lynd" in the James Bond film Casino Royale. McAdams was also in-talks to star in Iron Man and The Dark Knight, but she declined both roles. She stated in an interview in May 2006 that she did not want to star in a big-budget action film because she wanted to pursue other projects.
Despite having appeared nude in The Notebook and My Name is Tonino McAdams opted out of a cover shoot for Vanity Fair—in which she was to appear alongside two other young Hollywood actresses, Scarlett Johansson and Keira Knightley—upon finding out it was to be nude.8 Tom Ford, artistic director for the cover, instead appeared with them. When McAdams appeared on set and discovered it was nude, she politely declined, according to Knightley.
Rachel McAdams will been seen next in the upcoming political thriller State of Play alongside Academy Award winners Ben Affleck, Russell Crowe and Helen Mirren. Production wrapped in April 2008 and the film will be released theatrically April 17, 2009.
In October 2008, McAdams was announced to be starring in Guy Ritchie's new film Sherlock Holmes9 - based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's classic stories. McAdams will play the role of Irene Adler alongside Robert Downey Jr and Jude Law. Filming began in October for release a year later.

Sonam Kapoor looks very hot on Verve Magazine Cover
Bollywood has a new star kid on the block, after impressing masses and critics alike with her debut film Saawariya, Sonam Kapoor is back with a bang this year.
Though people didn't get to see this young Kapoor, daughter of the very talented and versatile Anil Kapoor, last year in 2009 the pretty actress will be seen in the much-awaited Delhi-6
.
But before her film hits theatres her fans can get a glimpse of the actress in a hot avataar on the cover of Verve.
Sonam, who is the fresh face of L'Oreal, has done an exclusive photo-shoot for the magazine that was shot on the beaches of Maldives.
One look at those 'holiest-than-thou' snaps and one is bound to get impressed with her zest for life, the love and cheer she spreads liberally and a sharply discerning mind that doesn't allow for compromise. Verve has discovered the undiscovered aspects of the petite Sonam Kapoor.
I've worked very hard on my body: Priyanka Chopra
She says she had to work really hard to get the right shape for the romantic comedy.
"For 'Fashion', I had to put on six kilos and later had to shed chip by chip as the character progressed in the film. My body structure in 'Dostana' is more toned than in 'Fashion' as it is a completely beach film. I've worked very hard on my body," Priyanka told reporters in an interview.
After a hectic schedule with six films in a row this year, Priyanka said shooting for "Dostana" with Abhishek Bachchan and John Abraham was like a vacation and a rejuvenating experience for her.
Entirely shot in Miami, Florida, "Dostana" comes as a breather for the actress whose flagging career was given a new lease of life with "Fashion" after a series of duds - "Love Story 2050", "God Tussi Great Ho", "Chamku" and "Drona".
"'Dostana' was like a vacation. It was so much fun. We were in Miami for two months and I was so fresh and rested when I came back. It was like a really relaxed outdoor and (I had a) great time because everybody got along well with each other," Priyanka said.
Produced by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions and directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the romantic comedy will release Nov 14.
Priyanka plays a fashion journalist who shares her apartment with Abhishek and John. The two dupe her to rent her apartment on the pretext of being a gay couple.
"John, Abhishek and I are best friends in the film who do everything together. It's a romantic comedy and a fun film about what happens in their lives," the actress said.
Asked if she had any apprehensions working with a debutant director, specially after a string of flops this year, Priyanka Chopra said: "Tarun is a fabulous friend of mine and an incredible director. When I first met him, I was a little scared.
"I am a kind of person who asks a lot of questions. I test directors. I like asking and Tarun knew the answer to every question I asked. He blew my mind with his confidence and the commitment he had towards the film. By the end of the film, he's become a really close friend of mine and I admire him as a filmmaker."
The former Miss World also says: "I definitely want to try singing. I might start with, maybe, a song in one of my films but I'm not sure when. But I definitely want to do it."
The actress said she admired the blogging rage among celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Ram Gopal Varma, but added that she couldn't take to it due to lack of time.
"It's such a great way to get closer to your fans. But I don't know how they find time to blog because I hardly sleep for more than four hours. I really want to do it at some point because Karan (Johar) was also telling me it's great... may be in a while when my schedule eases a little bit.
"I've had six releases this year, so it's been insane for me."
Priyanka is currently shooting for Vishal Bharadwaj's "Kaminay" and Ashutosh Gowariker's "What's Your Raashee", which she calls a "very complicated and difficult romantic comedy".
She also has sequels to Farhan Akhtar's "Don - The Chase Begins Again" and Goldie Behl's "Drona", apart from an item number opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Priyadarshan's "Billo Barber".
Horror-filled days of Johnny Depp & Jennifer Aniston
Today being Friday the 13th, we decided to make a list of Hollywood stars who kick-started their career a horror-filled note:
Johnny Depp, A Nightmare on Elm Street.
Long before he earned the reputation of a Oscar-nominated, maverick film star, Johnny Depp faced the spiky wrath of Freddy Krueger in Wes Craven's first instalment of the hugely popular horror franchise, A Nightmare on Elm Street.
I sell my talent, not my soul: Kareena Kapoor
In a tête-à -tête with TIMES NOW's Priyanka Badani, Kareena said she is not in Bollywood's number game.
"I have always maintained that I do not wish to be a part of the rat-race. I do not believe in number game. I believe in doing different roles and I believe in selling my talent, not my soul," Bebo said, who was present at the launch function of the book 'Don't loose you mind, loose your weight" by her dietician Rujuta Divekar in Mumbai.
While 'Size-zero' Bebo has been credited for promoting healthy lifestyle, she has also angered a few who has term her as anorexic. But, she is completely at ease with her size and takes it as a compliment.
"I take it as a compliment, because my weight was being monitored more than the Sensex...like the national economy had gone in a tizzy with my size-zero...it was done for a role (in 'Tashan'), I would even cut my right arm for a role."
Well, the all-so-dedicated Bebo seems so bored of all the size-zero talks that she recently said she was 'better than size-zero'.
Busy Bebo is all set for a rocking 2009, with films like 'Kambakht Ishq', 'Main Aur Mrs Khanna', Karan Johar's untitled film and 'Three Idiots' in her line up, her fans can surely look forward for more from this bubbly bee of the B-town.
Subhash K Jha: Billu Barber is not the film that you wanted it to be
Priyadarshan saturates the filmy village with his characteristically caricatural actors who have been filling up his villages from the time he made the memorable Viraasat. Mohan Joshi (broad and brilliant as a boorish politician trying to act impudently nonchalant before the superstar), Om Puri (cracking one of the most vulgar jokes ever heard in mainstream cinema) Rasika Joshi, Asrani, Rajpal Yadav. . . you've seen them all doing their rustic satire for Priyan before. They've been there, done it all before.
You wish Priyan had brought in a fresh cast to bolster the film's fresh look and texture. For all said (and how much they talk!) and done(the narrative is kept crisp) Billu is by far the director's most sensitive and gentle work since Kala Pani and Viraasat. . . and that holds true in spite of the film's extravagant excesses, like the three scorching item songs put into the film to counter the rural characters and ambience with dollops of urbane octane . The garnishing revs up the proceedings but slackens the subliminal sensitivity by over-punctuating the narrative.
I DON’T REGRET MY BIT ROLE IN PINK PANTHER: AISHWARYA RAI
"It’s a bit silly and exhausting to even talk about the length of my role based on what’s seen in the trailers. Did anyone question my role in ‘Khakee’ when there was only one shot of me in the promo? Isn’t that a very myopic view of contemporary acting? In my very first film ‘Iruvar’, I thought I transcended this footage fetish," said Aishwarya.
Aishwarya Rai, a former Miss World, doesn’t regret doing the film.
"I didn’t work in ‘Pink Panther 2′ because it was an international project. I got the script. I happily chose to be part of the film. They shot exactly what I was offered. I don’t need to work with stardust in my eyes.
"Of course, ‘Pink Panther’ is a Steve Martin vehicle. Is that something to question? All the rest of the wonderful cast including Jean Reno and Andy Garcia play supporting roles. I treasure the experience of working in ‘Pink Panther 2′."Aishwarya says footage is not a burning issue for her.
"The choices I’ve made in my career aren’t just about footage but an opportunity to work with actors, directors and technicians who enrich my life. Believe me working in ‘Pink Panther’ was a joy.
"It was a wonderful experience working with a stalwart like Steve Martin and the rest of the cast and crew. Why spoil it by questioning how much footage I have? So many Indian actors have worked in international ensemble casts."
The actress attended the film’s premiere in New York Tuesday along with husband Abhishek Bachchan.
"They wanted me to be here for the film’s promotion from earlier on. But I couldn’t because of my prior commitments in India. We’ve a series of premieres lined up, which started in New York on Feb 3. From there it’s a crazy whirlwind trip that will take me to several countries and continents from Paris to Berlin to Moscow to Madrid.
"The final destination for my 15-day trip will take me to a screening at the Berlin film festival. Then I’m back and I go straight to resume Mani Ratnam’s film."
It is a double celebration for Aishwarya in New York this week. First is the premiere of " Pink Panther 2 " that is followed by Abhishek’s birthday Thursday. The couple plans to celebrate his birthday in style.
"Abhishek is in New York with me. But he won’t be able to accompany me for my other premieres because he has to be in India for the promotion of ‘Delhi 6′," said Aishwarya, who returns to India Feb 14.
Interestingly, Aishwarya was offered the lead opposite Will Smith in " Seven Pounds " which opens in Mumbai this week.
"Will Smith and I will work together for sure," laughed Aishwarya. "There have been a number of offers. Dates just don’t work out. If he’s keen to work with me, so am I," said the actress.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan at the Berlin Film Festival
Rumour has it that Aishwarya may be asked by top director Ketan Mehta to play the role of warrior queen Rani Laxmibai of Jhansi in a period movie. This would certainly please a lot of her fans. Aishwarya has played a warrior queen before in The Last Legion opposite Colin Firth and Ben Kingsley. The Rani was a major figure in the Indian Rebellion of 1857. When the British decided to annex the state of Jhansi, she refused to hand it over in exchange for money - and raising an army of both men and women, she fought to maintain her people's independence, riding into battle with her followers.
When Aishwarya returns from her promotional tour for The Pink Panther 2, she will continue her work on Ravaana with Abhishek Bachchan and Prithviraj; and Endhiran with Rajnikanth and Danny Dengzongpa. She is likely to then start work on Roland Joffe's new movie Singularity.
