It’s been a long time we saw Dhanush on screens and of course the wait is worth it. The actor has simultaneously completed shooting for ‘Mariyaan‘ and Hindi debut film ‘Raanjhnaa‘. The shooting for his upcoming film ‘Nayyandi‘ directed by ‘Vaagai Sooda Vaa‘ fame Sargnunam starts rolling from today. The film was earlier titled as ‘Sottavalakutty‘ and later rechristened as Nayyandi as the makers felt it to be more apt .
Touted to be a comedy entertainer set in the backdrops of Kumbakkonam, Malayalam actress Nazriya Nazim, who is already pairing with Jai in ‘Thirumanam Engira Nikka‘ stars opposite Dhanush in feamle lead role.
Dhanush has written on his micro-blogging page that the film goes on floors from today and he will be joining the crew from February 21.
