He said: �Back then I thought there was nothing going on in this boring town and I was always complaining about it. �Now I see it and think: �Look at the luxury I had'. I was able to grow up in a playground that in America people have to create.' The �Terminator' star also lamented the fact he now has to travel to take his children to experience things which were on his doorstep growing up opposite an 11th century castle. He said: �Now I have to go to take the kids down to the beach and to the swings, or to some special place where they can ride on a pony, or to somewhere else where they can see a cow or something like that. I grew up literally across the street from a castle.' Schwarzenegger loved showing his children the rustic tasks he had to do as a child and thinks they would have benefited from the �rich' environment he grew up in. He added to Youthgossip.com : �My kids, when they went over to visit, they were like, �Oh my God, look at this.' �I got a can and I milked a cow. I told them that I used to do it at six every morning � Today I look at it as a rich life � I grew up much more normal because of that environment.'

The 65-year-old singer and his partner David Furnish recently welcomed their son Elijah Joseph Daniel Furnish-John : who was born to a surrogate mother on January 11 : and have admitted they feel far more confident about their parenting skills than they did with their first son Zachary. Elton told Youthgossip.com : �We tried to create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. We were excited at the prospect of Elijah's birth as we were at the prospect of Zachary's : but much less nervous.' David added: �I would say we feel more secure in our parenting skills now : it's far less scary than the first time 'round!' The couple : who entered into a civil partnership eight years ago : intend to be open with Elijah about the unusual circumstances of his birth after using the same surrogate for both boys, and have lovingly put together a scrapbook filled with mementos from the last nine months. David, 50, explained: �We kept a scrapbook for Zachary with all his scans, emails with the surrogate and key moments from the surrogacy, and we are doing the same for Elijah. We want the boys to understand the spirit and love that was at the heart of the process.' The showbiz pair are overjoyed with the new addition to their family and have vowed to always give their sons constant love and support, no matter what decisions they might make in life. David added: �All we hope is that Zachary and Elijah are healthy and happy. They will always be able to rely on us for total love and support, and we hope they grow up to live their own lives and be who they want to be, not who we want them to be.' Elton and David will stay in Los Angeles for a few months before returning to their luxury home in Windsor, England.

He added: �I respect the ongoing friendship I have with him that will last in my life until I die. It's just my little moment. If I could have a glass of champagne with him I would. Everybody loved and respected him so much, and we have this sense that we're still doing Larry's show. That's the best way to do it. It's not shoulders down or sad or solemn : it's just some inappropriate humour that keeps his spirit going really high on set.'

He said: �I have never thought of Derek as disabled. I never understood it when they started trying to second guess. Some are saying, �He is autistic, no he has Down's Syndrome.' No. If I say he is not meant to be [disabled], he is not meant to be. It's as simple as that. �I don't think this is controversial. I don't think �Extras' was. What is the problem with Kamal Haasan's Vishwaroopam In spite of getting clearance from the Central Board of Film Certification, Kamal Haasan's mega-ambitious movie faces a ban from the Tamil Nadu government. Is this move justified? Can the state impose this kind of diktat on films, or is there more to the whole issue than meets the eye? We dissect the controversy to find out what exactly made Vishwaroopam attract so much of the wrong kind of attention�. It all started when Kamal Haasan's decision to release his magnum opus Vishwaroopam on the DTH platform (Direct-to-Home) set the industry abuzz. The 58-year-old actor-filmmaker defended his move to introduce the film in pay-per-view mode on DTH networks on the day of its theatrical release. What Haasan thought would be an innovative move to earn money through a novel and legitimate avenue bothered producers and exhibitors from the industry who were apprehensive about the result of this newer technology that could eat into the profits they would have made by screening the film in theatres alone. As per Haasan's innovative concept, the film would have been screened on DTH eight hours before its theatrical release at the cost of Rs 1,000 per viewing. In doing so, the superstar wanted to take his film : as well as the whole experience of movie watching : to a newer level and also wanted to curb rampant video piracy. But his opponents, mostly film exhibitors and distributors, argued that this �technologically-sound' move could have killed any curiosity about the film, and therefore affect potential business, even if producers were more than excited to explore the idea. As the debate raged on and Haasan refused to relent, the film faced newer hassles on the eve of its release. Finally, after much argument, the movie lost its distribution channel and the idea of the DTH premiere had to be shelved. But Vishwaroopam found itself embroiled in a newer controversy when it faced the state-imposed ban following a new brouhaha. Some Muslim organisations in states like Tamil Nadu thought that the film portrayed their community in a negative light. The screening of the film was subsequently stopped in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and recently even in Malaysia. Interestingly and ironically, even though the Central Board of Film Certification has cleared the movie for viewing a ban has been imposed by the state government without consulting any expert body. Meanwhile, Haasan has received enormous support from the film fraternity, including southern superstarRajiniknath, who has urged Muslims to end the controversy through peaceful talks. Kamal Haasan's fans and those who attended the special screening of Vishwaroopam are of the opinion that the film has not portrayed Muslims in a bad light. And, they insist, the veteran actor has not tried to link the community with terrorism. The entire episode has been tinged with a political colour now. Is the ban politically motivated, is the question being raised. In this scenario the possibility of Haasan's detractors : some powerful exhibitors as well as distributors working in tandem with political parties, each trying to milk the controversy to fulfil their own agendas : can not be ruled out. Amidst this confusion, liberally peppered with allegations and counter-allegations, the Madras High Court deferred its order till Tuesday. That means the movie will be stopped from screening for at least the next two weeks. The court has also suggested that Kamal Haasan should engage with the group opposing the film and find an amicable way to deal with the issue. While we at Youthgossip condemn censorship of this kind in any context, we are curious to know what the outcome of this argument will be. And, of course, we look forward to watching Vishwaroopam, controversies and all!

Arjun Rampal is not a typical Bollywood hero Arjun Rampal is flooded with praises and is overwhelmed at the response for his upcoming filmInkaar, starring Chitrangada Singh and helmed bySudhir Mishra. The director, who has teamed up with Arjun for the very first time in the film says the actor is finally getting roles that suit him. He said, "Arjun is growing as an actor. Finally films are also changing and it suits him more as an actor. Though he has got all the looks, he is not stylized sort of typical Hindi film hero actor. He is actually a very good actor and is comfortable with our kind of films more." Inkaar, which is all set to release on 18 January, is about sexual harassment at work-place. Rampal, 40, has successfully managed to shake off his wooden face image with films like Raajneeti, Rock On and Mishra says Rampal is lucky to be part of the industry at a time when it is changing. "When you see Rock On, Raajneeti, he is very good. He is lucky that Indian cinema has changed in his time and the kind of films that are being made gelled with his kind of acting," says Mishra who has made films like Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi, Dharavi and Chameli. Recently, Arjun's wife Mehr too had praised him and his excellent act in Inkaar. Arjun is happy with the overall reviews the film has bagged so far and is now waiting for its release. Kai Po Che will have its world premiere at 63rd Berlin International Film Festival Rock On fame Abhishek Kapoor's next film Kai Po Che produced by UTV Motion Pictures is all set to release next month. It is learnt that the film will have its world premiere in the Panorama section of the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival, Berlinale that begins on 7th February 2013. The film is based on the novel 3 Mistakes of My Lifewritten by Chetan Bhagat and it seems to be the only feature length Indian film included in the festival's various programmes announced thus far. There are 31 fictional features from 23 countries in this section from a number of works invited from Turkey, Indonesia, India, Taiwan and the Ivory Coast. With this announcement the selection of Panorama's main programme and Panorama Special is now complete. Abhishek was applauded for his work in Rock On and everyone is hoping that he must be bringing the magic back with Kai Po Che! It's dancing guru Prabhu Deva. An eyewitness informs that Varun was very nervous while he was sitting in his room before the show. That's when Prabhu sir walked in and wished him good luck. He told Varun about how he still gets nervous during stage performances. He even mentioned that he really liked Varun's work in SOTY. Of course, Varun was excited after hearing such encouraging words from a senior actor, filmmaker and dancer. The eyewitness adds before leaving the room, he told Varun to put all his energy into the performance and just give it his best. He also told him that he was looking forward to watching him dance on stage. That's not all. After the show got over, Prabhu Deva even sent a message to the young actor, saying that he was thrilled by what he had seen. What's also interesting is that a couple of days ago, Varun had presented Prabhu sir with the Best Choreographer award at another award function. Irrfan Khan rejoins the shooting of Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster Returns Multi-talented actor Irrfan Khan, who recently won hearts with his act in Ang Lee's award winning Life of Pi, was recently in hospital recuperating from the injuries he had encountered while shooting a polo scene for his upcoming film Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster Returns. The good news for all his fans is that the actor is on the mend and prepping to re-shoot the absent scene. Director of the film, Tigmanshu Dhulia confirmed Irrfan's better health, saying, "Irrfan will be fine. He picks up fast. Besides he`s halfway a polo player already. He is an expert horse rider. The rest will just follow." As per the reliable source from the sets, it is to know that in Sahib Biwi Aur Gangster Returns, Irrfan needs to be shown playing a game of Polo. The sequence was put off for the last, since the actor needed to learn the sport from scratch. "The role has the method actor more nervous than anything he has done so far, including the rigorous self-discipline that went in to playing the steeple-chase runner in Dhulia's Paan Singh Tomar," added source. A spokesperson said, "He has never been more anxious. Irrfan has never played polo. He needs to look like a professional polo player on screen. And he didn`t have that much time to take up the sport seriously." I just did it as a passion. I want to dedicate this song to my wife Twinkle as tomorrow is our wedding anniversary and Valentine's Day is also coming soon" said the 45 year old Akshay Kumar. The music of Special Chabbis, slated for February 8 release, has been given by M M Kreem. Directed by Neeraj Pandey of A Wednesday fame, the film is based on a true incident of robbery where 26 people posing as Income Tax officials raided a famous jewellery store in Opera House in the 1980s. It also stars Anupam Kher, Jimmy Shergill and Manoj Bajpayee. Speaking more about the film without revealing much, Akshay informs, "I can't reveal much about the film as there are lots of twists and turns in it. But I can say that I reinvented myself with this film and had a lot of fun while shooting. I realised it is fun to do this kind of film." Anil also plays a cop in Abbas-Mustan's next. But the actor says his character in khaki in Gupta's film is shades apart from the director-duo's project. "In Gupta's film my character doesn't even know how to talk English!" He also feels that ever since having worked in international films, his style of dressing has undergone a sea change. Says Anil, "When you are working on the international platform, the bar raises naturally. There is a lot of detailing that goes into shaping a character and that also reflects in the way I dress now."

The festivities took place on the sets of Police Giri. Ace director Shankar, who is the director of the film requested Dutt to participate in the Pongal festivities. We hear Sanjay Dutt also received an invitation from Superstar Rajinikanth, who was great pals with Sanjay's dad, Sunil Dutt. Sanju accepted the invitation right away and went to Rajini's residence accompanied by Shankar. It was a warm and affectionate meeting between the two actors, we are told. The Superstar apparently also sent some exclusive gifts for Sanju Baba's twins. Trust Rajini to play the perfect host!

The South superstar's ambitious venture will now be shown to Hollywood celebrities on January 24, a day before its release here in India The man has done what few manage or even aspire to do. After his plans to release his mega-budget project Vishwaroopam in DTH before its theatrical release hit a roadblock, Kamal Haasan has bounced back bigger and stronger. He has now taken his pet movie to the Hollywood shores, and will hold a special premiere for all the celebrities on January 24 in a theatre in Los Angeles. After going back and forth on the dates, the multilingual film is now all set to release on January 25 in Tamil and Telugu, February 1 in Hindi and it will be shown on DTH on February 2. Besides Kamal, the movie stars Pooja Kumar, Rahul Bose and Andrea Jeremiah in pivotal roles. The cast and crew have already left for LA on January 21. A source told the Youthgossip.com : 'Their success is quite staggering : so are the profits coming with it. The lads had an incredible 2012 and this year looks even bigger. 'Although they're all mature for their age, they are still five young boys at heart, and have all made mistakes : it's part of growing up. The �What Makes You Beautiful' hitmakers : Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Louis Tomlinson and Zayn Malik : appear alongside other big names in an official video for the �Enough Food If' cause, calling on British Prime Minister David Cameron to take more drastic action in putting a stop to world hunger when the G8 nations meet in the UK later this year. Harry, 18, opens the video by saying to the camera: �One third of children in sub-Saharan Africa are malnourished.' Zayn, 20, adds: �Big corporations avoid paying millions to Africa every day. If we stop this, all of Africa could have enough food to eat.' �Pirates of the Caribbean' actor Orlando Bloom also appears in the clip, asking: �The world produces enough food for everyone. Why are one billion people going hungry?' Actor David Harewood, who plays CIA agent David Estes in the hit drama �Homeland', continues: �When there is enough food to feed everyone, why are 870 million going hungry?'
