Jennie Garth celebrating first Thanksgiving alone

Jennie Garth will be celebrating her first Thanks giving without her daughters.

The former 'Beverly Hills 90210′ star : who announced in March that she and her 'Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2′ star husband Peter Facinelli were splitting after 11 years of marriage : is preparing to celebrate her first holiday alone as their three children Luca, Lola and Fiona will be with their father.

The 40-year-old actress told Youthgossip.com: 'This is my first shared holiday.

'Their dad and I are hammering out the details of that, which is weird. They're actually gonna be with him for Thanksgiving and I'm gonna be with some friends, and then I get to have them for Christmas.'

But the 'Eleventh Victim' star revealed that she is planning to host an early celebration with her children next weekend.

She said: 'We're gonna do our Thanksgiving on Saturday. I'm gonna make a whole meal, have them go shopping with me and help me bake everything, and my mom and her husband are gonna come over.'

Jennie said she is trying not to get upset about sharing her family at this time of year, saying: 'today I realised that Christmas is around the corner! I'm gonna get back from Thanks giving and it's three weeks away!'

But the actress : who recently admitted she isn't ready to date following the end of her marriage : said she hasn't made any plans for New Year's Eve yet or any resolutions.

She said: 'I have not crossed that bridge yet!'
