Britney Spears Kicks Off UK Tour at The O2 Arena

Britney Spears kicks off the British leg of her Circus tour at The 02 arena to the delight of her fans.

The 'Toxic' hitmaker started the show by descending from the ceiling on a circular trapeze, wearing a revealing corset and fishnet tights, singing her recent track Circus, reports Contactmusic.

After a month's break from performing since she wrapped up her North American shows in May (09), Spears seemed to be in a dazzling form as she belted out all her classic hits - and surprised concert goers by remixing a selection of her tracks, including Baby One More Time and Womanizer, especially for her European tour.

Spears flaunted a new toned figure in a range of figure hugging outfits, including a raunchy sequined number with nipple tassels and a ringmaster outfit, complete with whip.

The singer stopped during the concert and yelled to the crowd, "What's up London! I am so happy to be here tonight!"

Sandra Bullock has blasted reporters who incessantly ask stars about their rumored pregnancies, claiming that such questions could be hurtful to infertile women.

The ‘Speed’ star became stepmother to husband Jesse James” three children after the couple married in 2005.

And she is angry that reporters won”t spare them from such barrage of questions when they will have kids of their own.

“You don”t have to give birth to someone to have a family. We”re all family, an extended family. I”m not going to spend two seconds of my life wishing I had something I don”t. It’’s hard to do it your way when you hear everyone else telling you to do it their way,” Contactmusic quoted America’’s Harper’’s Bazaar magazine.

“I reamed out (scolded) this idiot girl at some premiere once about this. I had just been talking to a friend who couldn't conceive, and I saw her pain.

“And this girl says, ”Are you pregnant?” I went off on her. What if I couldnt have kids? Do you know what that would make me feel like? I just want people to admit that there’’s no one way to live your life. Of course, I don”t know what’’s going to happen,” she added.

Mel Gibson's Russian lover Oksana Grigorieva has filed a lawsuit against a group of Internet entrepreneurs who snapped up her domain name.

The 39-year-old singer has accused bosses of web hosting company DreamHost.com of 'cybersquatting' on the site OksanaGrigorieva.com - and making it look like her official website.

The lawsuit was filed this week (ends28May09) in Los Angeles, reports Contactmusic.

The 'Poker Face' singer has said that teachers at New York's Convent of the Sacred Heart Catholic school would not be offended by the way she expresses herself.

"I haven't had any feedback from the nuns. But it's interesting because I think everyone assumes that because I went to such a religious school perhaps they don't appreciate what I'm doing now. But it is quite the opposite," Contactmusic quoted her as saying.

She added: "I got a really solid education, in particular how to analyse art, how to make art. So if anything, my teachers are sort of nodding their heads and saying, 'She did a good job of using her artistic abilities to really create a new kind of pop.' "

While Gaga is sure that her former teachers support her outlandish career choices, she recently got in trouble with police over her skimpy outfits.

Lindsay Lohan's ex-girlfriend Samantha Ronson is infuriated after a girl was badly injured in a vicious homophobic attack at one of her club nights.

Ronson expressed her outrage on social networking site Twitter.com by posting a photo of the girl's injuries, and criticised the incident on her MySpace.com blog.

She said that the woman was only targeted because she is a lesbian.

"That picture above was taken after a girl was attacked at a party I DJ'd in seattle, simply for being gay. It's disgusting," the Daily Express quoted Ronson as saying.

"No one should have to suffer any sort of attack, verbal or physical, for any reason. There are no excuses for violence - people say 'well they're just ignorant or uneducated' - so what???

"Unfortunately people are killed, beaten and attacked daily for a number of ridiculously irrational reasons.

"I'm not saying that everyone has to love everyone individually, I'm no hippie, but seriously people, no one should ever resort to violence. What if your sister, mother, brother or father were being pummelled for wearing a red sweater? Would you stand by and do nothing? Well, we are all someone's child, sibling, or friend! Open your eyes!" she added.
