Dappy denies three assault charges in court N-Dubz star Dappy has denied three charges of assault in court. The 25-year-old rapper appeared in Guildford Crown Court, Surrey, yesterday (07.01.13), wearing a woolly hat with the title of his album �Bad Intentions' on it, over a fight that took place at a Shell petrol station last February. He is accused of attacking Grace Elizabeth Cochran, 18, and Serena Burton, 18, and beat David Jenkins, 23, at the garage before another group of men arrived : leading to an altercation in which the man along with the girls received facial injuries. Dappy : whose real name is Costadinos Contostavlos : denied all charges against him when speaking in the dock. The other men in the dock, dad-of-two Kieran Patrick Vassell, 25, and Kalonji David Stewart, 32, each denied a single count of affray, while another man Alfred James Miller, 28, pleaded guilty to a charge of affray. Dappy's trial has been adjourned until this morning (08.01.13), where prosecutor Brian Stork will deliver his opening statement against the accused. He wrote on his Twitter account: �Thanks for your kind messages today. The idiots at the coroners office f***ed up but we are fine.' Following the first inquest, the coroner's report was sent to the wrong address. Mitch said: �It was a massive cock up. They messed up twice. It is preposterous. �It is the same evidence so it was bound to reach the same conclusion. What other conclusion could they reach?' The 61-year-old showbiz patriarch admitted the first hearing, which he attended with Amy's mother Janis, 57, was �horrible' so he had had no intention of attending the second. He said: �I wasn't going to put my family through that, it was horrible. That is the end of the story.' The first coroner had been wrongfully appointed by her husband, Dr. Andrew Reid, who has now resigned from his post as the area's senior coroner, with his spouse also stepping down. 
Twilight leads Razzie nominations 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn : Part 2′ leads the Razzie Awards 2013 with a nomination in every category. The conclusion to the teen vampire thriller has earned 11 nods in 10 categories at the 33rd annual Golden Raspberry Awards, which celebrate the worst films Hollywood has produced. Despite making $814 million at the box office, the film picked up nominations for Worst Picture and Worst Sequel, as well as Worst Actor and Actress for lead stars Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart respectively. Bill Condon gets a nomination for directing the film, while Taylor Lautner and Ashley Green are nominated for Worst Supporting Actor and Actress. Elsewhere, Rihanna's acting debut in 'Battleship' earned her a nomination as Worst Supporting Actress, while the film can also count a nod for Worst Picture among its seven overall nominations. The actress, featuring opposite chocolaty boy Imran Khan, had consumed alcohol to bring the real feel for a sequence in the film. Anushka, who is sharing screen space opposite ace actor Pankaj Kapur, who is a teetotaler, was worried about how she would pull off acting a drunk, because she had no idea how one behaves under the influence of alcohol. What happened next was quite surprising for all. According to source, "Anushka was fretting over the scene because Pankaj is a seasoned actor. Someone suggested that she get a drink just to know what it feels like, so she did. And while rehearsing with a unit member on location in Chandigarh, she ended up having half a bottle of vodka. She got a little high too, but didn't realise it and went off to her hotel to sleep. The next day, she had a bad hangover and slept till late into the afternoon." The source adds, "Anushka was very apologetic when she met Vishal (director) and Pankaj the next day, but they think highly of her and were impressed by her dedication. In fact, the entire unit was impressed that she went to such lengths for one scene."

I was trying to get Kareena to perform with me this time. It will be lovely to perform with her. But of course, it will be odd to perform romantic songs with her," he said. On the big screen, Ranbir will be seen with his parents in his next film Besharam. "I am working with my parents in Besharam too. They are not playing my parents in the film. Revealing her opinion about having an item girl in a film, she says, "Who am I to have a say? No, seriously, let me tell you why exactly they are in our films: Because they work! This is an industry and we can't afford to be prudes. There is a wide spectrum of audiences out there and different types of cinema cater to different sorts of people." And that's the reason she feels the question of judgment doesn't arise. "We shouldn't put a certain section of actors in a bracket and judge them as a good or bad influence. They are there because they are entertaining. Nobody is doing anybody a favour. It's a basic matter of choice and taste," tells Sarika. Quizzed why exactly did she agree to an item song, Sarika avers, "I've always loved Dama dam mast kalandar and it goes back a long way. Aashiqui 2 director Mohit Suri promises to retain original flavor Music is like soul of Indian films and keeping the fact in mind the makers of Aashiqui 2which stars Aditya Roy Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor, have been putting each possible effort to live up to the expectations. As known the film is a remake of 1990s musical hit Aashiqui, starring Rahul Roy andAnu Agarwal in the lead roles. It had 11 songs, which has already raised the comparison factor between both film's music. The director of remake, Mohit Suri says Aashiqui 2 has 10 long songs that have given the compositions a contemporary feel while retaining the flavor of the original movie's music. He says, "The film (Aashiqui 2) has 10 love songs and we have tried to retain the feel of the previous film as well. But of course that film came out 21 years ago, so it can't be exactly the same." Aashiqui music was directed by Nadeem Shravan, who gave us 11 hit songs, including Tu meri zindagi hai, Ab tere bin and Nazar ke samne, and all were very popular with the masses. "The songs have a flavor of the previous film, but then we have tried to contemporize it so that people can relate to it. Songs have been composed by different artists� we are on the last schedule of the shooting," he added. Aashqui 2 is almost done with its shoot and left with last leg of shooting parts but its release date has not been confirmed yet. When source asked, Mohit Suri said, "(Producer) Mukesh Bhatt will be able to give you a better answer on the release date. I only make the film." The music of the film is been given by Jeet Ganguly and is expected to release in May, 2013.
